Mike was knowledgeable, however there were a couple of minor "glitches" involving having to custom order garage doors (which he did not realize until the day of delivery) and that set the project back by two weeks. There was also a crack that developed across the center of the concrete slab after the project was complete and when I called Mike about it, he said that it should not have happened. However, after talking to the concrete contractor, he said that it was intentional. I was surprised that he didn't know that immediately, if he was experienced with this kind of work. There were also a few communication problems. I will take responsibility for not being totally clear about some of the things we discussed and agreed to, for example the cost of replacing siding. Mike worked to make sure that everything was clear and that I was happy at the end. I had a vague feeling that he was overcharging me for some aspects of the project, for example putting a curtain on the slab in front of the garage door. He told me that he "would not guarantee the work" if a curtain was not added. However, the company which put in the driveway said that it was totally unnecessary. Overall, the work was done well and I am very happy with my garage. I would hire them again and recommend them to friends.

After conflicting info from the city, Brad from Struction looked at our garage rebuild plan, talked to the city thrice, and got the REAL answer. We couldn't do it (no expansion allowed), but at least now we had a straight answer. Plan B: repair it (replace rotted wood, straighten walls), then new vinyl siding. We'd some of the work, and Brad would do the rest. Worked out GREAT. Brad was communicative and conscientious throughout. He arrived when he said he'd arrive, called if he'd be late, done on time and on budget. Nailed it, figuratively and literally. Best contractor experience I've ever had. Brad might be a Jedi.
