"I cannot say enough good things about Peter and his company!!! I had a serious electrical emergency situation due to floodwater corroding my entire breaker panel and affecting all of the wiring in my house, which was shorting out in multiple places, causing wires to catch fire. Peter was kind and compassionate, extremely professional, explained everything to me in great detail, gave me multiple options for repair work, based on what I could afford at the moment, considering that my insurance company is still holding up my claim check for months. They ended up being at my house for nearly 12 hours, when they originally expected the work to only take about four, based on the extensive damage, they uncovered once they removed the breaker panel. I even told them that they could come back another day, I could live for a day or two without any power, but that was unacceptable to Peter, and he would not leave without making sure I had at least enough power to safely be in my house. He also would not take a penny from me until he made sure that he had done as much as he could at that moment. All of my appliances that are 220 electric amperage cannot be reconnected until the wiring is replaced, so once I am able to schedule that work, I will certainly have them come back to complete that job and then the rest of the wiring that is damaged in my house, Again, I cannot say enough good things about Peter and his family based company. I have met many contractors, over the years, but very few as outstanding as AmpedUp Electric!!!"

"I thought this electrician was top-notch. I sent out a request literally in the middle of the night, and he answered me the following day first thing and made time on a Sunday to come out and see the job. He was here when he said he would be here. He went over above what he said he would do. He wrote everything out. He did not treat me like a moron, since I did not understand a lot of the intricacies, and I am so pleased with what he did. I’m going to be hiring him again for additional work. Really quality work"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
