Comment: Apparently the water proofing layer was not applied correctly behind the stucco around/above the large window on the front of my 1-story house. Water leaks in from the top of the window during rainstorms or if water is sprayed at the wall above the window, even though the window itself is completely sealed (original from builder in 1994). I believe we need to remove the stucco above the window, properly/thoroughly put in new waterproofing, and then re-apply new stucco and paint to match.
