"We hired another company to install two new shut off valves in our basement. Our house is very old and actually has lead pipes coming into the house. The original plumber installed the valves and left without the water being turned back on. When it finally was turned on, there was a small leak in the compression fitting to the main line. So, we called Slades to come fix the problem. John was upfront about his service call pricing and hourly rate, and I found both to be completely reasonable. The best part of my interaction with Slades, however, is that I no longer have to worry about the problem. While my original plumber (a company that touted their decades of experience) had every excuse as to why the job could not be done properly, John simply solved the problem. "Had 2 other plumbing companies come out to clear blockage. After paying those two after they told me there was no more blockage, I continued to have draining problems. Exhausted with this mess, I tried one more time and went with C&C. They came here and after a short amount of time trying to snake my lines, they told me it was best to run a camera. After doing so, they quickly showed me a root infested, broken pipe. They came the next day to expose my piping that was bad and replaced it all. Never tried to upsell unnecessary things. Very professional and the work was top notch. The workers were extremely genuine yet hard working. They really helped me, I no longer have to worry about drainage issues caused by that pipe.
