"The crew finished our roof in 10 hours. We have a 2000 sq ft house with a two car garage attached. We met with Leo and he explained the type of roofing available and what they would need to do from the plywood, ice and water membrane, underlayment, vented ridges, flashing and matching ridge cap. They replaced 4 skylights and installed our gutter covers. This crew was so efficient. They each new what their jobs were and from the moment their feet hit the ground they never stopped working. They put down protective tarps and cleaned up area around house when they were finished. The roof looks great. We chose a more expensive roofing but the basic bid was comparable to 4 other estimates we received. Couldn't be happier. What we thought would be a two or three day job only one day. Everything on time. Even received a senior discount. "

"I submitted an estimate with a payment plan to just cover costs easier for my family. The quote went well and we decided to let Ampro take care of us. After a financial inquiry we were approved and signed paperwork. A month later after the project was completed I was then informed that my finances had not been approved and I got roped into a terrible interest/financing charge killing loan. Not what I signed up for, also on top of that the project manager overcharged me. He called back apologizing and had to wait another 2 weeks to get my refund via check. All in all satisfied with the product but the customer service was lackluster. "

Dear Michael, your job started at the peak and start of the worldwide pandemic. Your financing was approved before the United States shut down. Most lenders suspended all lending operations due to the capital markets shutting down. Foundation Finance refused to fund your loan even though you had signed documents. We agree that this was not expected and very disappointing for both you and Ampro. We were able to draw upon our reputation and experience to place your loan with another excellent lender. Your loan does not have an early payoff penalty which allows you to pay it off with another lender of your choice or with your cash. Ampro arranges loans for customer convenience and Ampro is not the lender. Your refund concern is surprising. Ampro performs and audit of all files when closed. During a routine audit, Ampro found that you were due a small refund. Ampro notified you. You did not notify Ampro. Ampro just did what was right. We take all negative comments as constructive and we are sorry that we did not meet all of your expectations. Business is very difficult during pandemic times. We are glad you like the Ampro quality. "We took our time and got many estimates for our Queen Anne Victorian home, garage and cottage. Not your ordinary style of roofing project. We have had bad experiences in the past with contractors however by far, this company went above and beyond our expectations. The experience was exceptional thanks to Leo from start to finish. No high pressure sales tactics ,honest,kind,patient and understanding person. All of his crew very professional, quality work, clean up and responsiveness. "Ampro Builders LLc New Roof for customers Alan and Theresa Heim Roof Project began third week of September 2017. We just had our new roof completed by Ampro Builders and thought it was important to share our experience and our overall satisfaction level with the company in writing a review regarding dealing with it’s employees and most importantly the new roof itself. The project took approximately one week (7 days) to complete which we thought was fast considering the 4500 square feet and 10-12 pitch they had to contend with (see attached photo). We selected Ampro Builders over 3 other serious contenders after meeting with Manager representative Leo Redford. We liked his no nonsense style and level of knowledge and confidence in explaining exactly what we would be getting based on what we expressed we wanted in a new roof. Throughout the process, Leo was supportive (always almost immediately responded any time I texted or called him with a question) and continuously connected with me and the crew doing the work. The crew led by Jesus were nice, hard working, and cleaned up after themselves after every work day. They protected our shrubs and home siding without incident and left our yard and home exterior looking as good as it did when they first arrived. Some other examples of what we were impressed most with: 1. One of our window screens did get torn by a shingle (only about a four inch tear of the fabric) and Leo took both that screen and two others that were not torn but looked a bit worn with him and repaired the torn screen and replaced the fabric on the other two even though the crew did not damage it. 2. The contract refuse container driver accidently hit my basketball hoop bending the backboard. The driver quickly apologized for doing so and Leo worked with the company to replace the hoop with a new one that I should receive any day. 3. The working crew noticed how incorrectly the original roofers nailed the plywood in place and took the time to redo the nailing so the boards were nice and flat to place the shingles on. I expect to be impressed with the opening presentation from the company sales rep but my positive impression continued all the way through to completion. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the roof. We believe we have an outstanding roof, using outstanding materials, at a very good price with includes one of the best warranties on the market and will be the envy of our neighbors when they see it. Take a look at the picture which I think speaks for itself but every aspect of the job was great from start to finish and believe me I have had plenty of stinker companies and employees to deal with over the years and with Ampro Builders I couldn’t be happier. "I had a major roof project done. Needed old roofs removed, new gutters, new roof and some trim repair on my chimney. I got three bids. The bids were quite close. I decided to go with Ampro for a number of reasons. 1. I felt like the included things the other contractors did not include. 2. When I questioned the other estimators about their bids one of them promised to revise the bid but then did not follow up. 3. Ampro was the only contractor who did not require 50% payment up front. Ampro does not require payment until the job is complete and accepted by the homeowner. From the estimator "Leo" to the Forman "Jesus" everything was professional. Jesus was so patient and happy to answer my constant questions. Here is a man who is passionate about his work. If you need a roof please use Ampro. You won't be sorry."

"This was to replace an aging cedar shake roof with asphalt shingles. The job was originally scheduled to complete in 3 days. Instead it lasted 3 weeks. I cannot fault the company over this, however. They ran into incredible problems during the job, having to do with the way the cedar-shake roof was constructed. None of these could have possibly been foreseen - by me or by them. They did charge about 8.5% extra for this but it was fully justified. In fact had they charged more than that I wouldn't have been surprised. They had a crew here working into the night, day after day. And the men hated the job because of how difficult it had become - not your typical job, at all. Nevertheless they stuck with it and completed the job in a workmanlike manner. I'd use them again. Two reasons I didn't give five stars for work quality: They weren't quite so careful with our bushes and garden as they might have been. And the whole think of having to replace a roof bothered me to no end."

"I think that they are more of a roofing company. The sunroom was supposed to take a week and took a month and a half, with me calling constantly to get them back out to the job. Cleanup was horrible. Glass and sheet metal pieces all over our lawn. Had leaks that needed multiple trips back to fix. Electrical work was shoddy. Upside down outlets, etc. would never hire them again."

"We chose Ampro for the warranty and mid-range cost. However, we encountered many issues with the company. The roof was replaced while raining, so we ended up having major leaks in our laundry room, resulting in a new ceiling and light fixture that took three weeks to complete. The painting contractor hired to do the repairs was inconsistent with returning phone calls and always late to arrive at scheduled times. Also, we were misled about the financing options. The salesperson told us that there were several financing options, and that they contract with a company who provides six months without payments. After the work was complete and it was time to sign paperwork, we were presented with one financing option- three months without payments and with interest accruing from the first day. Over a month after the roof was started, it is complete and looks nice, but the hassle of the laundry room being repaired for an extensive time and intentional misleading of finance options makes us dissatisfied with the overall customer service and company."

Crew got caught in a down pour before completion. Ampro contacted a painting and Drywall contractor immediately. Entire laundry room ceiling was removed and replaced with no cost to Mr. E. Access and schedule for repair was limited by Mr. E. making repair a challenge. New ceiling and light fixture plus all new paint took only three weeks including drying time. Financing is a convenience offered. Ampro customers are free to pay by any number of options.

"The work quality is great. The main concern was the property protection around the house. It was not protected most of the time and that resulted in minor damages such as cuts and marks from failing shakes and shingles. If you negotiate the project price down, make sure you write down and sign all materials and components that will be used in the project. There was an attempt to use lower cost materials than originally planned. The job took over 2 weeks to complete due to miscalculation of the needed materials."

We appreciate our customers kind words about our quality.The customer was very concerned with cost, however he recognized Ampros level of expertise and concern for quality,so he asked us to match the bid of a competitor that specified an inferior product to keep costs down.We provided our customer an upgraded shingle and warranty.During install he was not happy with the ridge cap that had been specified by the competing contractor,so we offered to upgrade the ridge at a discounted rate.The customer refused,so in line with our motto at Ampro that the customer is always right we provided yet another upgrade.His shingles were special order.

"Rob and Scott asked me what problems needed correcting then told me how they would address my needs. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't ask for; they offered solutions. For example - to stop the leak in my sun room they installed custom-made flashing that will redirect the rain. Also, - the appearance and function of my front entrance has been greatly enhanced with thermopane panels that match my sunroom. - a funtional heat and moisture ridge vent addressed another need I had: better air circulation in attic.
