Comment: This morning, while I was taking a shower, my wife noticed water leaking through a light fixture in our kitchen ceiling. I opened the plumbing access panel to the bathtub plumbing and found what looked like a long, thin saturated area where the tub meets the wall tile. There is water running down the edge of the underside of the tub, in side the wall, and towards the floor joists, where I only guess that it must bee pooling and leaking into the kitchen below. Looking at the wall tile, The first row of tiles along the edge of my bathtub, directly below the taps and faucet, appears to have come loose/grout has cracked. There is a little bit of damage to the paint adjacent to the area, as well, telling me there has been some saturation. It looks like the tiles need to be carefully removed and replaced, with a better grout job, providing a better seal.
