David Lupberger on How to Reset Your Breakers: Hi, I'm David Lupberger with ServiceMagic.com. Have you ever had the experience where you have been in the bathroom with a hairdryer or been in the kitchen and turned on the microwave and toaster at the same time and *pop*, the breakers blown? Lupberger: Today we are going to talk about how to reset those breakers. First thing you want to check is if you have a GFI plug or circuit. These are located in bathrooms, kitchens and outdoor environments wherever water is located. You may find that if the circuit has been tripped all you have to do is rest the circuit and you've got your power back. When you open the box you will look at your circuits you will probably see one in the off position. What you want to do is take that circuit and makes sure it's all the way off, push it back on and that has reset your circuit. If that hasn't reset your circuit, now it's time to call a pro.
