How Happy Are Cleveland's Homeowners?

Living’s easy in Cleveland. Not only does the city offer some of the greatest walkability scores in the country — and definitely the greatest Polish Boy — but Forbes also ranks the city’s cost of living nearly 10 percent below the national average. But when it comes to home happiness, there’s room for improvement. Despite the fact that some homeowners are enjoying new windows, updated kitchens and hardwood flooring, nearly 60 percent of Clevelanders say they want to renovate or remodel their homes. And they’re putting remodeled kitchens (with quartz and marble countertops), updated bathrooms, and professional landscaping and outdoor lighting at the top of their wish lists.

Cleveland's homeowners told us about the completed home projects that have brought them the most joy - and about the projects they desire that will make them even happier. When projects overlap, it means they make homeowners happy whether they're enjoying them now or aspiring to enjoy them later.
