Contacted JMS General Contracting to get an estimate to tear down and rebuild our 1940's garage. Jason arrived and assessed the overall condition of the structure and recommended a garage restoration project. He kept in mind what we wanted and developed a game plan that would achieve our goals. Additional meetings were held to pick the siding and doors we wanted and once we had provided him with that info he formulated the time schedule for start and completion of the garage restoration project. Jason also suggested if we had any particular fixtures we wanted to purchase he would install those as well. This restoration included remove/replace the concrete garage floor, entry door and garage door with new opener system. New 20 amp electrical service to the garage with multiple outlets (GFI) inside of the garage as well on sun porch. In addition, remove/replace roof shingles as well any lumber that was found bad. And finally, the installation of vinyl siding. The planning of all personnel involved in this restoration was outstanding. All contractors used during this restoration were reputable and professional. Trying to get this done in St Louis in March was a gamble that paid off! We've already got ideas for renovating our sun porch next! OUTSTANDING!!!!

I hired JMS to make some substantial changes to my home that were on my dream list. I have been saving for some time and I'm glad that I choose them for my investment. They remodeled my original 1950's style bathroom that was small and lacked function. It was reconfigured to make a now pleasantly open and beautiful modern space that functions to its max. It was very important to me that I still kept some of the home's character. The owner Jason worked closely with me in helping design a concept that his professionals mastered with the installation of custom marble finishes for that classic look I desired. They also reconfigured my living space to create an open concept with some structural changes that transitioned together my living room and kitchen including an addition of a Granite Breakfast bar and new custom woodwork. All work was done with a high level of care and quality and all professionals who were involved treated me and my home with the care and respect that Jason promised was the JMS standard. I was highly impressed with this company, they are very versatile in the scope of large remodels and I have already referred them to the family for a basement remodel and a friend who does investment rehabs. During initial meeting Jason spent 3 hours consulting with me on my project which put him above everyone else I was considering. Jason is very trustworthy, very neat. I love my basement remodel. Jason and Don did quality work. Very pleased with their work ethics. I would hire them for any other job we needed done. His prices were right where we needed them to be. He met me at Lowes one day to make sure I was getting the right shower. He helped with the color of paint and with the right floors for a bathroom.

They were professional every step of the way. Complete remodel of the bathroom was a huge task for my 70 year old home. JMS assisted with the plan, gave ideas along the way, kept me informed with progression pics and cleaned everything when the project was complete. Highly recommend this company.

This remodel started out as a sub-floor replacement (because of a leaky flange under the toilet; it's what the plumber said we needed). We decided that a new floor might look out of place with old pink tile, so we went for a full remodel. We called 3 companies. One didn't bother to call us back and one gave us a high-ball bid only to try to work us down. That company's "best we can offer" deal was still $2000-$3000 HIGHER than where Jason STARTED. Jason worked with us to help us save money: we bought our own floor and surround tile, plus new fixtures...giving us the chance to use coupons and seek out sales. He discussed with us our plan for how we wanted it to look and offered suggestions for what might work better or save more money. We felt more informed and involved. Jason only fixed what needed to be fixed. That sub floor? It wasn't as bad as the plumber led us to believe. Jason only needed to replace a small portion. He worked hours that were perfect for our family, starting around 9am each day and working until late afternoon/early evening, depending on the project. He timed it perfectly and finished when he said he would even with additional unexpected repairs. He was adaptable to the situation (and we had several…something along the lines of Murphy’s Law!) And even though the final cost ended up being higher than expected, it wasn’t due to anything Jason could have controlled or known about: poor quality tiles, a barnacle on the stack, an outlet that wasn’t grounded even though it had a GFCI cover, last-minute changes on baseboards and thresholds…and a cracked tank on the toilet right at the end of the remodel. He worked with our city’s requests/requirements even going as far as to call the Public Works department and keep in contact with the inspectors to keep everything on time. He offered to come to the store to load the new toilet in my car. He even had to put up with sometimes conversing with me via text from another room while the baby was napping in my arms. I felt safe with him being in our home with our children present. He gave us progress updates daily. We were very satisfied with Jason and would definitely hire him again.

He did a few minor restorations for me, and made a new doorway between master bedroom and another small room. He does quality work, is quick and cleans up after himself.

I called many contractors to provide an estimate on my deck which was in dire need of repair. The contractors would not show or provide outrageous bids on the project. I am not certain how, but I was referred to Jason at JMS. After explaining my dilemma, he provided a fair and honest assessment of the cost of the repair. The deck was initially constructed poorly, and Jason was able to make the necessary repairs to ensure the deck would be safe for the tenants. He was very detailed in his explanation, but more importantly was able to show me why the repairs were needed. He took a great deal of time explaining things. I wasn't able to be on site while the work was taking place, but I trusted that they would complete the project and with quality. The deck turned out beautifully! I couldn't be happier with the great work he did!

JMS did a complete remodel of 2 of our bathrooms. It was almost from scratch the floors on up. They did a beautiful job with everything. They also laid our foyer and hallway floors. The quality was top notch and they were very detail oriented. They also were able to add some personal touches to the shower in the hall bathroom. It was original and completely made by them. It is definitely unique to our bathroom and house. It is just breath taking. I could not been any more pleased with their work. They helped at all the stages of renovating our bathrooms. Jason was just wonderful and had lots of good ideas and worked with us through the entire project. He also was able to help us keep at least a partial working bathroom during the first stages which was really important to us. He was very customer oriented and was able to envision what we wanted done and he helped make that a reality. If we need work done in the future we will definitely call and hire him and his crew.

We are very pleased with our new back porch remodel. We wanted to keep the original structure, not have it torn down and rebuilt. Jason worked with us to do that and keep the price down. Now we have a beautiful porch! We will be hiring them again.

Jason is very professional, neat and clean. He cared about and met my needs. He answered all questions. He did not use a high pitch sale. The master bathroom remodel is just beautiful. Did job in one day and saved me $1200.00.on this project! I also used JMS for a deck repair project. He did a high quality repair, in inclement weather, was on time everyday and also cleaned up site everyday he was there. JMS Saved me about $7000.00 dollars on the deck project! I had my basement remodeled recently. I have two large sitting rooms, a half bath and enclosed laundry room. The entire project took approximately 5 weeks from start to finish. I am very happy with the quality of work done. Jason takes his time to make sure the work is done right the first time. Very professional and affordable. Took pride in reparing my deck, painting outdoor vents above garage door and bay window plus had to replace a piece of siding that was at the crown of my 2 story house, so he was dangerously high up there on a ladder. Finished the project in a timely manner and cleaned up very well after completion. Will use him again

I hired Jason to repair our copper gutter leaks and replace a rotting column on our porch. He was great and I would definitely hire him again. He did quick but careful work and he kept me informed on the progress of our column order. What sets him apart is his attention to detail and going the extra mile for clients. For example, he was the only contractor who suggested repainting the other 3 columns on our porch to match the new one. I hadn't even thought of that and the results were so satisfying, like having a whole new porch. Don't hesitate to hire him!
