Colin the owner and his crew are honest, hardworking and pay attention to detail. this is the 2nd house we have used them for backyard retaining walls and design. once for a ravine with railroad ties and this week for a huge rock retaining wall 4 ft tall, 130 ft long. they tore down an old wall and designed a new one with natural looking stone with various sizes with drainage system. they also took time to grade and clean up yard. The wall is stunning and the company is outstanding. will use them for complete landscape design."

This company communicated well (the owner’s initial call was made same day I contacted him through this site), and he continued to reach out in a timely fashion throughout our job. (Almost a MIRACLE these days!!) He listened carefully to everything I needed done, provided knowledgeable suggestions, and made careful notes for necessary information. His crew was polite, friendly, efficient and careful! I was SO IMPRESSED!!!! The price was in line with landscaping costs. (Not necessarily cheap, but not out of line with everything that was done). "From the first meeting to assess the work to be done to the end of the project, Brian was very professional and very meticulous. Various types of natural mulch and landscaping rocks were to be placed around the house, which meant clearing out existing flower beds, debris, weeds, etc. around the home. He had a crew with him that were very polite and did a great job. I had a minor follow-up concern and Brian immediately came out and made sure everything was exactly to my liking. I have worked with several contractors over the past few years for various home projects. Brian, by far, has been the most reliable, efficient and professional contractor I've hired, and by far gave me the best end product. 100% recommend!"

He went shopping with me to find the right plants for my yard, all the while considering the budget. Richard designed my yard without any drawings, and it is absolutely beautiful! "I called this company 1/28/2026 around 4:00 PM, We had hired two different contractors to plow our subdivision, the whole subdivision and our mailboxes were left with 4-foot-wide path of snow in front of them. Chris Ray led the project team for our pool installation.  We understand this was one of his first assignments as ?the lead.? 
Chris was absolutely fantastic!   He was very communicative, responsive and he took the time to help us understand every step along the process.  We could see that he felt ownership to ensuring we were pleased with our decision to hire The Pool Shop ? always considering our needs first and helping us make the right decisions from design to finish.  He helped us consider all

We also have to give high marks to your sub-contractor, Justin Grounds of Grounds Quality Lawn Care. 
His vision and openness to listen to us ? even as things changed in the middle of the installation?was exceptional. 
He created a backyard attraction that enhanced the pool and the landscaping, making our new recreational area a jaw dropping attraction. 
Finally, we must complement The Pool Shop and Grounds for hiring great support crews.  Both teams worked very quickly and their attention to details were outstanding.  In addition, they were also very friendly and considerate.  The professionalism they
displayed represented both companies extremely well ? adding to even more satisfaction we experienced during the installation. 
 
Spring is just around the corner.  We look forward to attending Pool School and enjoying our new backyard experience next season.

"Anthony's cleaned up a couple of maple trees from storm damage, took down two pine trees and trimmed a couple of other trees as well. They did an excellent job of cleaning up . The guys he sent out were a friendly and courteous crew. I almost gave him a 4.5 in customer service because initially it was not clear when they would actually be able to do the work. But, when I asked and let him know my schedule, he jumped right on it. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him."
