Small jobs welcome
"I engaged Sarah to help reimagine my space, particularly to figure out how to organize and rehang my art. She came in with great ideas and is very collaborative. She also has such a good eye. I love what she’s done so far and looking forward to her work as she moves on to other rooms."

"Melinda paid attention to every detail, right down to the very color of the grill work. Her attention to detail and her continuous check on progress were astounding. She continually made sure that the kitchen design worked for me. She is the best designer I have ever hired and would love to use her for any future project"

"So to summarize the project I have a basement kitchen and bathroom remodel and I installed mini splits in my 3 bedrooms. Leonardo is flexible and accommodating and the work he did was better than other contractors I have paid more money for. When doing the new shower installation he found a mold issue and quickly provided me with a solution fixing the issue and modifying the contract and doing the work to remove the mold issue for what I found to be under the market rate for the area is. After the work was done he even followed up with any issues I messaged him about very quickly. If you want good work and a good price I highly recommend him. He does everything as far as I can tell and I believe I will use this company for future projects."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
