"This was a FANTASTIC engagement. Darrin got back to my initial inquiry quickly (it was early in the season) and came out to give me a estimate a couple of days later. He listened to what was important to us, came up with a design, and give us an estimate. The estimate was for three days of work (plus materials, disposal, etc). The workers showed up at 7:00AM Monday morning as promised, but I hardly noticed because they were so quiet! A tractor (with shovels) was used to scrape out the (disgusting) soil the builder had compacted when the house was built. We were shocked at how quiet they were. And they cleaned up the work area at least once a day, and always left with things cleaned up at the end of the day (dirt out of the street, etc). All the promised work was done, and in the quoted 3 days. The yard looks fantastic. The patio is perfect. No trash left behind. No problems at all! The only part of the work that wasn't done was applying polymeric sand to the patio due to weather. As stated, it is early in the season and has been raining every day. He said I could contract to have the sand installed later in the season, which I will take him up on!"

The one acre project involved the total design which included placing of six-man boulders and cobblestone river bed, tree and scrub selection and plantings, professional grade irrigation and lighting systems. He is very good at design, and has experience and talent in selecting native plants and trees. All the team are hard working, on time and efficient and great to work with. I initially got in touch with him about new construction design questions, and when we discovered that our current home porch posts had rotted through due to faulty design by the original home designer, Josh jumped into action. He had his engineer and construction crew to our door within 24 hours to take a look and put together a plan. He took my design ideas and brought them to life. He was transparent about all parts of the cost (to include his profit), and gave us to option to lower the cost by hauling away debris and painting the porch (which we were more than willing to do). Any delays with the work were met with a phone call and followup email if he didn't get through to either my husband or I immediately, and the construction crew did very high quality work.
