"This was a FANTASTIC engagement. Darrin got back to my initial inquiry quickly (it was early in the season) and came out to give me a estimate a couple of days later. He listened to what was important to us, came up with a design, and give us an estimate. The estimate was for three days of work (plus materials, disposal, etc). The workers showed up at 7:00AM Monday morning as promised, but I hardly noticed because they were so quiet! A tractor (with shovels) was used to scrape out the (disgusting) soil the builder had compacted when the house was built. We were shocked at how quiet they were. And they cleaned up the work area at least once a day, and always left with things cleaned up at the end of the day (dirt out of the street, etc). All the promised work was done, and in the quoted 3 days. The yard looks fantastic. The patio is perfect. No trash left behind. No problems at all! The only part of the work that wasn't done was applying polymeric sand to the patio due to weather. As stated, it is early in the season and has been raining every day. He said I could contract to have the sand installed later in the season, which I will take him up on!"

If you have ever dealt with a remodeling company that employs outsourced labor, it can be a mis-quote nightmare. Other companies pointed me to handy men for this job not realizing I might need or want more than that in the future. Thank you"

We worked with Randy to design the landscaping, then he and his crew added about 3/4 acre of landscaping, including a sprinkler system, edged garden paths, trees, shrubberies, gardens... and a reasonable sized lawn... oh and a granite waterfall/bubbler... its awesome. Randy and his crew were very polite and friendly. I will be calling them back to do the remaining portion of my yard one day..."

"We needed some room additions to our small house in Burien. After speaking with several other architects and seeing how flaky they were right off the bat, we were dreading the whole process. After speaking with Char once we knew we were in good hands. Her communication was perfect. We would have weekly updates to go over the process and discuss any changes or recommendations. We were on a tight budget for the building costs, so when we found a contractor that we enjoyed, they were able to understand and calculate an accurate estimate from her drawings that were within our budget. She was able to get all the permitting for the additions from the City of Burien within 3 weeks with no redactions. We would hire her again, as matter of a fact, we did hire her for another build/design, Immediately after designing the house additions, but we just ran out of money for that build. I even recommended her to several other friends with their builds."

The company only bid on what they needed to. They prepared my home with care by putting up protection for the floor and walls. They completed the job well and in a timely manner with pictures of everything that was done. I couldn't have asked for more. I'll hire them again to complete the portions that we deferred for the moment. Some of their competitors tried to upsell things that I didn't need nor want. Flashy fear does not play well with me.
