"Beyond better than I could have hoped. Joe is very professional, well versed, knowledgeable, creative & resourceful and an excellent communicator. He spoke to us not at us and throughout the entire design process he listened and asked questions & listened some more. We found him very easy to work with and honest. Joe worked within our needs. He took what was in our head put in onto paper and together with our contractor gave us what was in our hearts - a beautiful home. Go with Joe - he’s the man in the know!"

"Anthony Nastasi of NB Woodworks, LLc, has our highest recommendation. He has worked with us over the past year on a variety of projects aimed at refurbishing and improving our home. This has included exterior trim replacement, replacing a box window with a French door and side light unit, and replacing a large unusually sized window. He also built a beautiful mahogony deck. Indoors, he installed a french door which included fine trim work. In addition, he hired excellent subcontractors to powerwash and paint our home and build a patio, porch and walks. We highly recommend Anthony's carpentry skill, as well as his problem solving, planning and coordination skills. He is also a dependable, honest person of fine character."

"We have been using Bella Kitchen for the past 5yrs. They remodeled our kitchen, painted and remodeled various rooms in our house and last summer they undertook major repair work and painting on the outside of our property. This summer they will be remodeling our bathroom together with undertaking repair and painting work in our bedroom. Their craftsmanship work is excellent and their attention to detail is also excellent. They are reliable, clean, cover any items not being worked on even the flooring. Their pricing is very competitive and they will work within your budget. After they have finished the project they insist on a walk through and if at this stage you are not entirely happy they will rectify the problems. Perry Scaranni who owns the company is very obliging and a delight to work with. He will also undertake any design projects and together with his team will turn your vision into reality. His work is really stunning and we highly recommend him."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
