"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

She was very professional and helpful. We did the pantry together because she felt it was the best way to organize it the way I want it. "We employed Alan E. Taylor, Architect to draw up the plans that would allow us to age-in-place in the family home. We enjoyed working with Mr. Taylor on our project. He was enthusiastic in helping us to design changes that would allow us to be all on one floor. His engineering skills helped in deciding what structural changes were possible. He designed an addition and other exterior and interior structural changes that blended nicely with the rest of the house both interior & exterior. He also tried to help us find a way to put in a laundry on the first floor that would be in compliance with the town regulations."
