"Marc Hershman is a wonderful architect! He was so easy to work with and offered great ideas for how to improve the house spatially so that the flow of the floor plan(on the first floor) became more aesthetic and efficient.


Marc worked tirelessly in the extreme heat of the summer to achieve precise measurements of every inch of the house. His detailed plans were drawn beautifully and accurately and explained articulately in our first meeting.


We appreciated Marc's follow up visits to ensure that the construction was done properly and according to plan. Marc related to the contractor in a positive and professional manner.

"I called terry to see if my counter could be raise as my new dishwasher would not fit where my old one was. I was told I had to either cut the floor or do the counter over He said it would be a lot of work as I have tile that would have to be cut. He then asked if he could try something and guess what he got my dishwasher in with no cutting that the other guy said I had to do.

"Our home was built in 1922. As we were looking to completely renovate our homeâ s tiny single bathroom (previous owner had done a questionable DIY job) we had the great fortune of meeting and later working with Brian Belmont and the talented team at Cana Homes. We were so impressed with Brianâ s vision, that we expanded the project to include the primary (with custom built in storage and bookcase) and secondary bedrooms as well as creating a custom mudroom area for our entryway.
This project (which in scope was the entire right side of our home) was a daunting task to be sure but as with all things in 2020 this became quite a unique adventure. However, the tenacity of the team at Cana never wavered, even during the height of the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. They never lost focus on completing our renovations.
We encountered the typical issues/challenges that come with all renovations. But Brian always addressed these without question. Making sure we were pleased with the end result at every step. The goal was for us to be happy with the work that was done. And the end result was exactly that! We absolutely LOVE it!

"My husband and I hired Tom this past summer (August 2020) to remove our existing playset area and install a paver patio and retaining wall. Tom responded quickly to our initial inquiry and promptly met with us to go over our ideas and scope of work. In meeting with Tom, he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Tom was up front about costs and material availability. He began work within a week of meeting and continually informed us of progress. Tom actively approached us with enhancements to our initial plan and brought examples of alternatives we could use for our project due to supply shortages from COVID-19. His team was friendly, professional, and quick in completing our rather large project. From start to finish, Tom and his team were able to complete our project within four days. Furthermore, when we realized a break in our irrigation line, caused by equipment used, and drainage issues, due to our patio being built into a slight incline, Tom was quick to respond and address the problems (at no cost).
