"This is my second review of work performed by Rock 'n Gardens. Our first project—a large walkway/patio/entry installation--was so successful that we contracted for a short matching walkway to the front door with the leftover stone. The design challenge in this second project was to artfully tie the new work into three massive existing stone slabs so that the walkway would complement the scale of the existing slabs while not overwhelming the front of the house. Once again, we are delighted with the finished job. As with our first experience, professionalism, communication, and timeliness throughout this project were top notch. In fact, with a cold snap predicted, the Rock 'n Gardens crew, on their own initiative, arranged to finish the installation on a Saturday before the bad weather hit. That's above and beyond in my book. When we are ready for more stonework, we will definitely be calling Rock 'n Gardens."

"Jorge and his crew were excellent with their craftsmanship. They took up and removed the concrete front walkway that was cracked and crumbing and put down beautiful pavers in an elegant design. Then evened out and resurfaced my front steps which were cracked and crumbing.. The pricing was consistent with their job Excellent. They arrived on time , cleaned up the debris and were courteous and explained everything as they did the job."

"Gaia’s Gardening. I couldn't be happier with the work Jack and Josh did. From the initial consultation through the final installation, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their eye for landscape design, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship transformed the space beautifully. They communicated well throughout the project, showed up when they said they would, and clearly take pride in their work. It's not easy to find a company that combines exceptional quality with fair pricing, but Gaia's Gardening does exactly that. If you're looking for a landscaping team that is hardworking, trustworthy, and committed to creating beautiful outdoor spaces, I highly recommend Jack and Josh. I would absolutely hire them again."

Start by defining your goals and budget. Collect photos of rooms you love, jot down must-have features, and list what isn’t working in your current space. Share these details—and your target budget—during the first meeting. The clearer you are, the quicker a designer can translate your vision into a workable plan and keep costs in check.
Yes, working with an interior designer can help you save money. Designers prevent costly missteps, secure trade discounts on furniture and finishes, and coordinate the project so you don’t pay twice for the same work. Their upfront fee often pays for itself in avoided change orders, tighter timelines, and materials purchased at below-retail pricing.
A full interior design project wraps up in two to three months, on average, while a decorating job takes four to eight weeks. Timelines stretch if you add structural changes, custom millwork, or specialty materials, and unexpected shipping or permit delays can tack on extra days. Talk with your designer about project milestones and build in a little wiggle room.
Interview at least three pros whose portfolios match your style. Review their credentials and ask for references. During a face-to-face or virtual meeting, discuss your goals, budget, and timeline, and make sure their communication style and fee structure feel comfortable. The right designer combines technical know-how with a creative approach that clicks with you.
