"Very honest engineer. He performed a mandatory seismic inspection that was required for the city of Hayward. There was no foundation issue whatsoever. Before Mr Padir did the inspection I had a retrofit company look at my building and they told me it would cost $58k to fix the problem and I almost fell for it. It turns out that one joist was rotten from a sewer leak that was repaired. It is hard to find honest people these days. I am so glad it is only a cosmetic fix and a sister joist installed next to it to relieve the pressure on the building. Thank you once again Mr. Padir. Excellent job and quick turnaround."

"First of all, they are very expensive. I needed two sections of drywall repaired that were a maximums of 6 inches by 6 inches. The estimate was $789.00. At first I laughed this off as a contractor who had more work then he could handle at the time, and so created an absurd invoice. Unfortunately, the work was being done is in a rental house that I own and the tenants are inconvenienced every time that I have a contractor creating an estimate. I decided against my better judgement to go with someone who is ridiculously priced but had good reviews. Bad idea. After they completed the work they added another $110.76 for a "materials" fee, which was not added to the previous invoice. $798.00 is absurd for 3 hours of work and $20 in materials. (I know this because I have do this myself.) $890.76 is criminal."

"My extensive project entailed new sod, irrigation, plantings and rock in the front yard. In the back yard, demo of a small patio, and pouring of a huge decorative concrete surface, plus new sod and irrigation. I plan to hire Alex next year to revamp the flower beds in the back as that piece had to wait. Alex and his team were absolutely outstanding. Attention to detail, such as the drainage system, and overall expertise resulted in a complete transformation. Pricing was competitive. Alex was very pleasant to work with. That said, I worked with blue star to come up with a design that was within my budget (after some back and forth and cutting a few things out) which was not huge.
