"Soane and his working family members showed up on time and are very personable. They plastered my large vent hood cover and drywallled some side pantry walls as well as the small gaps in three bathroom where new lights will be installed soon. I would recommend them for your drywall needs but book in advance as Fiefia Drywall are a popular company to use."

"The Patch Boys drywall employees were very professional and courteous and took time to go over their work and explain the drying time and when paint could be applied to the repair work. Excellent finished product. Highly recommend."

Customers say: Quality work
"They did an exceptional job professionally installing drywall and Durock. The job was a rebuild after a water/mold remediation situation. They rebuilt what had been previously removed. Their work included rebuilding portions of 23 walls and 2 ceiling areas, repairing ceiling and wall areas around rebuilt electrical wiring, and miscellaneous damaged areas (holes, etc.). Their work was very professionally completed and ready to paint, with no visible seams remaining, texture restored to match surrounding areas (orange peel on walls, popcorn ceiling). Great job, I would hire again."

"Bart and Carlos were great to work with. We had a wet ceiling problem that had to be repaired and they made an extra effort to respond quickly. They helped with some extras, also, that were not in the contract that helped us out after the work was done."

"I hired Janos and his crew to do my drywall and they did an outstanding job. They arrived on time, cleaned up when they were finished, and did perfect work. I then hired them to paint and they did a beautiful paint job. I’ll be hiring him again soon for floor tile. I highly recommend them."

"Went beyond my expectation to repair my cypress fence and add a partial new panel. My fence was leaning and about to fall due to a palm tree pushing on it. Other contractors wanted to remove palm, or brace from my neighbors yard or just told me to save my money and get a new fence which was thousands of dollars. The other contractors made it sound impossible unless I would let them do more work than necessary. Luxury paint came in, never hesitated to fix the problem at a reasonable cost. The fence was straightened, three new posts, landscape timber at bottom and they made V around the palm with my neighbor's permission. It looks great, is secure for my dog and they cleaned all debris. You would not know workers were here. I highly recommend them."

"I hired them to do my drop-ceiling in the basement. They fit my job in quickly, did a great job at a very fair price."
Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.
Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.
Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.
The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.
Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
