Not only is Alex a true Craftsman in his field, he is also polite and professional. His extensive prep work kept all of the mess of plaster work contained. He cleaned up everything completely. His texturing of the plaster and the painting of the ceiling are so good that it's imperceptible where the the repair was done. My husband and I are delighted with Alex' work. "Eduardo did an amazing job on our house. The house had a terrible and inconsistent texture everywhere as well as extremely thick paint that was peeling off the walls. Eduardo stripped all the paint off the walls and floated a skim coat over the walls and ceiling to make them smooth and modern. The job was enormous but he completed it with super high quality and ahead of schedule. He found several unexpected areas where the drywall was damaged beyond repair and he patched those areas for a reasonable extra cost. He also reinforced the existing ceiling drywall with new screws so that we never get saggy drywall (apparently old homes were built with drywall nails instead of screws, leading to sagging over time). When I saw the end result for the first time, I was speechless. Thanks so much Eduardo! Our "new to us" home now feels brand new"

"Thank God we found Celso and his crew at Austin lath and plaster. We've been meticulously restoring a 1910 farmhouse and German homestead in Blanco for two years. We're in the finishing stages and wanted the upper portion of the 10.5' walls veneered with plaster. Their worked plaster veneer finish is smooth as glass with just the right amount of subtle old school hand troweled character. I'm a tough restoration client to please and Celso's pleasant 4-6 man crew delivered a top notch plaster job in every room. They Used mega watt halogen side lighting to amplify every surface detail. Prep plastic covering was thorough and cleanup afterward superb. Pros all the way. We're very happy, as good as it gets"

"This company painted a couple rooms in my master suite and installed new moldings on the doors and window. They arrived on time each day and efficiently completed the job. The painting was done well. The only issues were that many of the screws and nails were left in the walls. I don't think there was any communication from me to remove the old screws and nails, so I did not take off a star. There were two holes that were filled, but it looked like they were filled with caulk instead of spackle. Not really noticeable so I didn't complain. The other issue was that one of the moldings they did was with a warped board and it's not flat to the wall. Not extremely noticeable unless you're looking at it from the side. I would hire again, but next time I would try to be more communicative with them. I do appreciate their reliability and professionalism."
