I would like to explain a little about the way we do exterior and interior painting. Pressure Wash Exterior JoMaxx, Bleach, Water, TSP, and AJAX. This solution is made to kill mold and mildew. Cleaning with bleach alone only dyes the mold and mildew and then forces the spore further into the surface. The addition of TSP helps remove oxidation and ensure a strong bond between the surface and the base coat. The addition of soap helps the chemical mix stick to the sides, allowing it to be the muscle that works the surface and allows for an easy lower pressure rinse. My method of extensive prep start with proper cleaning. Trench Perimeter and protect surrounding areas, as needed with plastic and/or tarps. Paper may be used on concrete walkways.
