"Ron responded literally within minutes of posting my project on Angi's and, due to a calendar hiccup, showed (the first time) a week early! That's saying a lot! Punctual, professional, and excellent work on our definitely-not-normal situation. Will be my first person to call if I have drywall work to do in the future."

"If you are local and EVER have drywall needs, Level Up Drywall is amazing. Juan is super kind, knowledgeable, professional, fast and his rates are beyond reasonable and their customer service is fantastic. I had a section of drywall in my child’s room that had disintegrated. Juan removed it, patched and textured it and made it look like it never happened. Times are hard for everyone, especially local, small businesses (I unfortunately lost the best plumber for this reason), so if you need someone who knows what he’s doing, give Level Up a call and support a local family that makes sure you, your home and your family are taken care of right. I am so grateful!"

"Pedro’s a dream to work with. First off, he’s extremely fast and does things right right off the bat. He has over a decade of experience and if anything, he charges way too little for his efforts. Secondly, he and his father-in-law are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet! I have low energy levels and am quite introverted , meaning I lose a lot of energy interacting with others; interacting with Pedro lifts up my energy and gets me excited about work and life in general. I honestly can’t recommend Pedro enough. If you have a drywall project, do give him a call. You won’t regret it! The project he’s done for me was a newly built wall with door access between the upper and lower levels of my newly remodeled house. What he put in place looks like it’s always been there and was meant to be. It’s truly beautiful work!"

"Larry was a very nice person who listened to what I needed, finished off drywall finishes that I couldn't and ran into an unusual issue on my previous painted surface that had bubbled. He stuck with it and made it right. Hard working honest individual. I appreciate all the work he did."

"RonCo Drywall, LLC provided excellent service and walked us through our drywall issue, explaining what was happening with our project need clearly. I really appreciated the ease of scheduling, and the price was great. We will definitely hire the company again."

"Jeremie did a fantastic job renovating our master bathroom shower. We had some parts and materials already purchased and he was happy to use them to reduce our cost. We identified changes to what we wanted after demo and he adapted to our requests seamlessly, working long days to meet the schedule originally provided. His work was top tier and we couldn't be happier with the results. We will definitely return to Tile Decor for our future needs, tile or otherwise (he did drywall and plumbing as well for us)."

Customers say: Quick response
"I hired L.A Drywall based off Angi's recommendations. L.A Drywall was 5 star from the initial contact till the end of the job. Luis, came over promptly for a bid, turned around time for a quote was within 24 hours as promised. In fact, all his promises were delivered within the time frame. Luis set the expectation and met them all. Honest, thoroughly and reasonably priced. The job was done correctly and properly as expected and promised. Having hired L.A Drywall "blindly" I can say I truly hit the jackpot. This review is posted one week after the completion of their job and I just went thru every part they worked on as I am painting it myself. I had a water heater leakage. Insurance refused to cut more of the drywall because "it was dry" Luis came over, looked and rightfully suggested no patching, but removal and installation of new dry wall. Which was exactly what I wanted the insurance to do so. Tremendously happy with L.A Drywall service."

Load-bearing walls support the weight of your home's structure, including floors, roofs, and other building components. Non-load-bearing walls, on the other hand, serve only as partitions or room dividers. All exterior walls are typically load-bearing, even if they have design features like bump-outs or large glass panels. These walls need precise construction to ensure your home's structural integrity.
Removing a wall costs anywhere from $300 to $10,000 , depending on the size and whether it's load-bearing. Removing load-bearing walls is a more labor-intensive process and typically costs more. To get an accurate estimate for your project, consult a local contractor with the specifics of your wall.
Yes, there are other projects you can tackle at the same time when building a wall. Upgrading to energy-efficient windows or doors can enhance your home’s sustainability and can be integrated into the wall construction process. You might also consider removing existing walls to create an open-concept layout or building a home addition for extra space. Coordinating multiple projects can be cost-effective and streamline your renovation timeline. Discuss your goals with a contractor to help you plan effectively and maximize the benefits of your renovation.
The cost to build a partition wall varies depending on the size and type you choose. Half walls that don't reach the ceiling cost about $10 to $20 per linear foot . Full partition walls made with drywall may cost more due to additional materials and labor. Prices for accordion or panel walls vary widely based on materials and design. Factors like electrical work, insulation, and finishes will also influence your total cost.
Framing is the backbone of wall construction, creating a secure structure that supports everything else. Quality framing ensures that studs, electrical wiring, and plumbing are properly integrated into your home's design. A professional installer uses reliable materials like wood or metal to build a framework that meets building codes and ensures your wall is durable and safe.
