John repaired some water damaged ceilings in my house a month ago.  The job was fairly extensive and needed the plaster to match the swirl pattern in the rest of the house.  He did a very good job for me and kept the place clean by sealing off the area with plastic sheeting and covering the entire hardwood floor with heavy paper.  The job took two people two days and cost $1,500.  

Since John worked out so well, I brought him back for another smaller plastering job after a plumber had finished repairing some pipes for me.  He repaired some areas that had severe water damage and needed the old plaster cut out and replaced.  The job took two people 3/4 of a day and cost $550.  He knew exactly what to do, did good work, and cleaned up after himself.  I am an engineer who has contracted many private contractors to rebuild an renovate several homes that I have lived in over the years and can say with no reservations that John is top quality at a good price.

"Bertie was extremely responsive from the initial contact and through out the job. He came on Saturday morning to check out the job and give an estimate.  He said he'd be there at 9, he was there at 8:55.  We had to replace a bathroom ceiling fan, which caused damage to the old plaster/wire popcorn finish ceiling. It was a small job but he was fine with that. He was able to schedule the for Monday. He should up again early and set straight to work. He put down drop cloths in the bathroom, prepped the ceiling and started patching it up. He was professional, courteous, friendly and highly knowledgeable.
