There was also an opening in the corner which allowed leaves to enter the rain gutter which got caught in the downspout along with the extra mounting bracket. That opening was closed up as well as another opening at the other end. While he was up on the roof, he checked the other rain gutter for possible future problems. None were present. Thank goodness.
