As they were removing the old roof shingles near our dormer windows, they found a problem and immediately alerted us to it, carefully showing us exactly how the previous trim had been installed incorrectly, and we were able to see where water had been leaking in over the years. We worked with SHS to come up with the best option and ultimately decided on new shake siding for the dormer windows. Within 1 day of finding the problem, SHS was able to acquire the shakes we selected and had a crew onsite to do the install to take advantage of the nice weather. Now- the roof is done and it's beautiful, the dormers look like new with shake siding, and our family feels safe and secure from the weather - and proud to look at the house when we drive up.
