"Dave and his team were great to work with. He gave me a competitive estimate which included his contacting and paying the local police dept due to the location of one of my trees. Two other companies who bid did not include this service in their fees and it would have been my responsibility to contact the local police and pay them. My next door neighbor's tree had recently been removed by a well-known tree company in the area. They did a great job and so I asked them to quote on my tree removal. They quoted substantially higher at a figure that was out of my price range. I went with Hillview and they did as great a job as the much higher competitor but at a much lower price. The only reason I did not give 5 stars for customer service is due to the slight delay I experienced in regards to an email I had sent. I would highly recommend Hillview for any tree work."

We were given a very reasonable quote and Mesias assured us that we were on the list to be plowed at the first snow. "Leo and his team did a great job! We had a long front walkway with bluestone and belgian blocks, and a cement front step. The walkway was done poorly and was falling apart, so we decided to have it removed and replaced with a paver stone walkway. We also wanted to have three levels of long runs with normal steps for each level, rather than 14 uneven steps that we originally had. Leo was very patient while we decided on pavers, and met me at the showroom to review options. He also brought us different samples and made recommendations. They demolished the old walkway, saved the material, and had the new walkway put in very fast, despite losing quite a few days to rain. They also regraded our sloping lawn to help prevent rain from pooling on the walkway, and to match the new levels. They put sod on either side of the walkway, and seeded the rest of the bare areas. Each day they cleaned up before they left, so it was almost as if they were never here. We love our new walkway, and gets lots of compliments on it. Thanks so much Leo!"

"I sent a quote request to Jose the other day to replace my chimney cap which had blown off earlier in the week. About an hour later I got a phone call and that evening he came by to assess the job and provide me a quote. The next morning at 8am, he was on my roof getting the job done. For the gutters, he removed my gutter guards, cleaned out everything thoroughly, and sent me pictures showing me his work. I will absolutely call Jose again in the future for similar jobs. "I needed my gutters cleaned. They were horrible and had their own plants growing inside. I contacted two services from Angie's List and Dirk was the only one who got back to me. Excellent communication and not only did he say he could do my gutters (some of which are over 25 feet from the ground), but also said he could power wash my home (something else that needed to be done). Came by the house while I was at work and sized up the job. Estimate over the phone sounded reasonable.
Showed up exactly when he said he would. Very interesting guy; "intense," professional, and very detail oriented. I came home after he had just finished the gutters and was shocked because there was not a drop of dirt of filth anywhere to be seen. Started the power washing that day and worked till dark. He advised me of all the problems he noted while up high on my house and quoted me a fair price to fix them, e.g., loose gutter straps, trim nails that were popped, etc. He even bought and replaced the dryer vent after noticing it was rotted -- did not charge a dime extra for that.
Very happy with the quality of the work. I'm a perfectionist and I could not have asked for a better job.
Highly recommended. Also can do just about anything else your house might need, e.g., experienced landscaper and carpenter.
