"Ray was instrumental in upgrading the electrical in my townhome, including installing new recessed lights, light fixtures, replacing receptacles with new ones and modern cover plates. He also relocated and installed a new subpanel providing dedicated circuits to appliances and the newly installed recessed lights. Ray is incredibly knowledgeable and very easy to work with and I would recommend him and happily use his services again."

"I am updating my rating for CA Electrical (Unfortunately Angi will not allow me to edit, so I am posting this as a new review). After posting my original review I was contacted by CA Electrical. The supervisor assured me that my experience was not their normal practice and that they normally made sure to call if there was a change of plans. I felt that they were earnest in trying to make things right, so I agreed to give them another chance. I ultimately decided to select them for my project to replace sub panel and install outlets. The crew was excellent and professional. They showed up on time, were professional and friendly, took extra care to ensure work spaces were left clean. Their workmanship was excellent and they did a great job of cleaning up some messy electrical wiring that had been there before. As an electrical engineer, I also appreciated the crews knowledge of code and ability to explain the technical side of the installation. I would use them again."

"We’ve hired Dalcon for various jobs around our house. We’re renovating an older home, and Dalcon has come out to move outlets, replace or remove lights, and also to trouble shoot various issues we’ve encountered along the way. We’ve always worked with Carlos from Dalcon, and he’s been very courteous and professiona. The quality of his work is excellent. He’s detail oriented, and has even picked up on and corrected work done by other contractors who have worked on our house. The pricing is fair and straight forward, and we can’t recommend them enough. We’ve made the mistake of trying to do things ourselves, or hiring the person who gives the lowest quote. Going forward, Dalcon will be our first call and they should be yours too. Ask for Carlos, he’s great!"

"I was very impressed with his performance but not only that I love the advice he gave us on what would be best for our home. We have had many electricians come out in the past years but the service and the time he took with us to discuss our personal needs for our home was beyond our expectations!"

"To say that Jeff Nichols at AVID Communication Networks Is phenomenal is an understatement. Part of the reason is that Jeff has been in the business so long that he has a background and knowledge of telephone systems that others don't have. He's also willing to tackle the difficult projects that many service people will walk away from because of being too difficult. Jeff also has a great knowledge of low-voltage systems as well as computers so that his skill set goes way beyond just telephone systems. I highly recommend Jeff because of his thoroughness and knowledge of telephone and low-voltage systems ."

"We reached out through the Generac website to create an RFP and obtain a list of electrician bidders for our home backup power project in the Lamorinda area. I met with Lucas Fitch and he was extremely professional, collaborative, and very knowledgeable, ticking through the various options and considering my needs and wants when making a recommendation. They quickly provided us with a detailed bid that was price and value competitive. They were able to provide the best generator size for the price to back up our entire house and pool area with an automated system that also included getting a permit from our city. Despite having a robust business pipeline, they were able to schedule us to meet our timing requirements. Their entire team was top notch and professional as well, and they quickly and efficiently got everything done at the budget and timeframe we requested. We could not be happier with the results! We strongly recommend the Fitch team for any back up power needs. If we have other electrical needs in the future, we will work with Fitch again!"

"Aaron is a knowledgeable and efficient electrician. He did some amazing conduit bending on our project that qualifies as art. I highly recommend Aaron for your project that needs a highly qualified electrician."
Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.
Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.
DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
