"Saul is an expert in the rewiring of my lighting system when the previous contractor messed up the circuitry during my major renovation of the house. Saul is familiar with all the 3 way switches that are so common in most new homes and he is very polite, very good in listening, understand my request entirely, very professional and he explained every single step before he proceeded with the work. I specifically requested for Saul to correct all the problems and issues and I think all his other employees are also equally well trained and you cannot go wrong with this company."

"Working with Thomas was a pleasure. He assessed my existing electrical panel and offered his advice. There was no pressure. I elected to have my breaker panel upgraded to 200 amp service with whole-house surge protection. The price was reasonable. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently to completion. They were respectful of my home, and exercised appropriate social distancing. I would definitely hire them again. The County inspector was not making house calls during the Covid-19 outbreak. So Thomas made another visit to complete a remote video inspection, without complaint."

"Deybi was super professional and he took the time to explain the electrical system in my old house and recommended the best option. He and his partner also took the time after the work was done to clean up after the work was done and made sure that I was satisfied with the final work. Would definitely hire again!"

"Great service for installing home surveillance cameras. My technician, Lincoln, is very professional and patient and he worked with me to set up a good time to complete the install. He left the work site clean and made sure I knew how to view the cameras on my phone and laptop. He also took the time to explain the technical aspects of the camera system."

"I was able to schedule an inspection and confirm an appointment within 24 hours which was a lifesaver. I was going to purchase this home but the last thing I wanted to verify was the electrical. I was not able to attend in-person so they walked me through the inspection on the phone after. They found the external wire was not grounded and there were a lot of flags found inside the breaker. Saved me from making a major mistake and I am grateful . The property later received a stop work notice from the county."

Customers say: Quick response
"Within a half hour of looking for help on Home Advisors I received a call from Metro Communications who were more then happy to come out to help. I operate a local restaurant and some of our systems had failed due to bad cabling. Even with it being late in the afternoon on a Friday before Memorial Day weekend, they were fantastic in coming out to me within an hour of their call and had all my systems back up and running within an hour or so of arriving on the scene. Cannot express my gratitude to them enough for their timely service, great rates, and overall knowledge of repairing the situation. Highly recommend."

"24/7 Contracting was attentive to getting the TVs mounted level, to our desired height, hidden wires, running appropriately, and restoring a clean area. We would definitely hire them back for other home improvement needs!"

Always start by confirming the pro’s license number, insurance coverage, and experience level. Visit the electrician’s website, scan recent customer reviews, and verify credentials with your local labor department. Request proof of liability insurance and at least two references that you can contact. These quick checks take only a few minutes but go a long way toward ensuring safe, code-compliant work and protecting your home in the event of an issue.
Grouping several electrical jobs into one appointment means you pay a single service-call fee and one set of travel expenses. Instead of asking a pro to return three separate times for outlets, switches, and fixtures, have everything tackled in one visit. The electrician stays productive, and you avoid extra trip charges, often shaving a sizable chunk off the final bill without compromising quality.
DIY electrical work can be dangerous and, in many areas, illegal without a license. One miswired connection risks shocks, fires, or expensive damage. Licensed electricians carry the right tools, follow local code, and know how to shut down power safely before they start. Hiring a pro may cost more upfront, but it protects your home, family, and insurance coverage in the long run.
From average costs to expert advice, get all the answers you need to get your job done.
