They thoroughly cleaned, prepped, sanded, repaired/replaced rotten wood, painted...and cleaned up. As the crew left each evening, they stacked their ladders and gathered their equipment and materials so things weren't scattered around our property each day. They did the entire project exactly how they said they would and I didn't perceive them taking any shortcuts. Their 14-year old son worked with the experienced painters so this really is a "family affair." As an extra bonus, Maria came out at the end of the work to walk around and provide a "woman's eye," though there were almost no oversights that needed their attention. She even left a couple of decorative gifts for our home. A true class act. They provided excellent communication throughout, showed up when they said they would, did the project for what they estimated, and finished one day quicker than initially promised. We will use them again for the interior and enthusiastically recommend this young family-owned business."

"It's hard to find reliable, trustworthy repair people of any kind. Well, I found H&K and the reviews led me to hire them. I cannot stress how impressed I was with Henry's attention to detail, pride in his work and friendliness. He explained what it would take to do the job and the cost. I had to have a bridge cabinet cut down to fit a combination microwave/vent hood over the range. He did this expertly and even helped install the microwave/vent hood. He also had to do some electrical to that same cabinet. Our job also included tile backsplash on two walls.
