"It took Douglas Pineda (owner) and 4 crew members four solid hours to remove overgrown plants and bushes, dig out or saw off plants that needed to be removed from growth too close to the foundation of my house. They then ground down all the stumps and removed all the debris and cleaned up both front and back gardens. I couldn't have asked for better service and nicer men. They provided me a "clean-slate" with which to work with in the coming years. The visible difference to the attractiveness of my home is quite apparent to a job well done...and brought many smiles all around.

"Ed gave a bid to strip and powerwash the cedar decks. I was clear up-front that we would take care of the stain, but I was open to get a quote that listed each service, including the stain.  I chose Ed mainly due to cost & even emailed him a signed contract for only the cleaning.  I would review the deck prior to any further work like sanding; I did not think it needed sanding.  The worst part of the deck was the vertical part of the railings (mildew) and Ed wasn't going to sand those anyway.  Unfortunately, the guy who powerwashed splintered my front deck rail.  I called Ed & said it needed to be fixed.  He said he would be out to look at it the next a.m.  Two very nice guys showed up the next day ready to sand the entire 2 decks!!   They called Ed who came out.  They did sand the rail (I still had to glue down a sliver), but Ed tried to talk me into "doing the job right." (i.e. sand & stain).  It was high-pressure, but I paid him just for the strip & wash.  I was surprised that the washer guy had left the rail in that condition; I thought more care would be taken with cedar (some if the sides of the deck boards were also a bit worse for the job -- but the deck is also 16yrs old so that could be a factor); it's the reason I hired someone who would know what they were doing.  Usually I just scrub with brushes, but I just didn't have the time this year.
