Deck Refinishing Companies In Your Area

  • M D Limited

"We hired Mike and his team to replace old, wood deck boards with composite boards, replace the screen around the enclosed portion of my deck, and paint the wood pickets on top of my front portico. They even sealed boards I did not get to, and that was not part of our contract. They went above and beyond, and the work they did was excellent. We are very happy with the finished product, and it all looks great. They do not leave any mess afterward either. It is good to work at a fair price. And Mike is very easy to work and communicate with, responding to all my texts and answering all my questions. Just be sure to go over the work completely, and have them finish any punch-out list before you hand over the final payment. I did have a couple of minor issues I found after the fact, and while Mike said he would come back to take care of them, he has yet to do so. It appears I will have to take care of them myself, but considering that he was thousands less than all the other estimates, this is a minor inconvenience. "

  • HomeGuard Renovations

"Very easy to work with from start to finish --- their team work together well and were quick to respond to our initial request for a quote (many companies did not even do that) and then to follow-up with the work. Their time frame was clear and they began and completed the work last week. They listened to our concerns and answered our questions. They also worked with us on a less complicated job to power wash the outside of our home. They gave us a fair quote and completed that work today. Overall, we feel valued as customers and are very happy with the work. Excellent service! Highly recommended! "

  • L & E Contractor Services

"It was a pleasure hiring Mr. Estevez to remove a small partition wall separating our dining room from our living room. He did a great job with the removal, patching the hole on the adjoining wall, and painting over it. He was even gracious enough to paint the rest of the wall just to make sure everything matches. If you're looking for an all-around Handyman who is honest, affordable, and does excellent work, look no further than Mr. Estevez."

    An Construction Company, Inc.

"I was very pleased with the work An Construction did on our bathroom. Han was very easy to work with and did a professional job. They cleaned up after themselves each day (except the tile guys were a little messy), were friendly and kept their appointments (again, except the tile guys). I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting similar work performed. "

Decks need regular maintenance to stay safe. Unprotected wood will start to soften and rot after long-term exposure to moisture. Even UV radiation can make your deck dry rot and turn brittle. This is dangerous because the surface is no longer safe to walk on or rest patio furniture on. Find a local deck refinishing company that can restore the surface and make your deck safe.

Wooden decks are usually constructed out of treated lumber. But the boards need to be inspected and restained every two or three years to seal the wood from the elements. Local deck refinishers know what signs of damage to look for and which materials work best in your area. They can also save you on labor and transportation costs. Look for a well-reviewed company that:

  • Cleans, power washes, and sands the surface before staining.
  • Replaces damaged boards and corroded screws.
  • Refinishes your deck with durable, resistant stain and clear seal.
  • Inspects your railing and supports to ensure safety.

Make sure you can trust the structural integrity of your deck's surface and railings. Type in your zip code and HomeAdvisor will connect you with deck refinishing services near you.
