1-800 Got Junk - Boston West

1-800-GOT-JUNK is a big scam. Do not under any circumstances hire 1-800-GOT-JUNK! They charged me $1400 to remove two full-size beds & empty boxes. Never gave an estimate; and when asked said, “It depends how full the truck is” Not on weight! It literally cost $200 LESS to move!

Tech called about 30 mins prior to arrival. Arrived with an assistant, they quickly assessed the work to be done and gave a cost window. After agreeing, they started removal immediately from the back yard, basement and unit. Filled most of the truck, but tech advised they would keep the original range that was quoted. Efficiently loaded everything, were social and respectful of the property at all times.

I had several heavy pieces to get rid of and they took them all.  They were efficient, quick, friendly and helpful.  I was so very glad I called them! I would recommend them.

They were very responsive, very thorough and they did what they said they would do. They were very flexible so if I wanted them to take more stuff they could. The staff was very professional, they showed up were prepared, polite and courteous. They removed the debris and they were on their way. It was a very simple transaction. You pay a little more because they fact that they're hauling it away. So it can get pricey, I cant really say its a fault they have a right to charge what they charge. But it's more than getting a  dumpster and doing it yourself. But, the upside is you've got no dumper in your yard taking up space and your not lifting and hauling. They're honestly in and out very quickly. Scheduling was super easy and they came the next day. Very prompt. They were right on time and they called me to tell me the were on the way.

Great. A real person answered the phone when I first called. A time was scheduled for a site visit and estimate. "Got Junk" showed up for the estimate, provided a competitive bid and a competitive schedule. They got the job. And they did a great job.

<p>While they were later than the time they estimated when they called, they were well within the window promised.  </p> <p>They were pleasant, professional, helpful and -- a word I don't use lightly -- kind.   They worked every moment they were here, and took additional stuff without complaint.   They were organized, and packed the truck efficiently and effectively -- so I wasn't paying for lots of unused space.   I have used 1-800-Got-Junk for years now, for my home and my business.  I have never been disappointed at the service.   The prices -- a little high -- but with the promotion I took advantage of, the cost turned out to be very reasonable.   </p> I am very grateful that I have them as a resource.  And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. <br />

Well worth the price. Well-run website, professional and timely service, courteous staff. I had several friends tell me to donate my stuff, and not pay for people to take it away. Truth is, I had a lot of stuff that I just couldn't donate -- broken plastic bins, old wood, broken tiles, old garbage bins.... stuff you can't just put in your town trash bags, stuff that won't help the homeless or helpless. Highly recommend this service for getting rid of your useless junk. <br />

Yesterday afternoon Rob & Matt were removing furniture from apartment 7C.   I fell in the middle of the hallway just outside the elevator.  Without alarm, ignoring my embarrassment, they lifted me up and Rob helped me to my apartment.  I have a brace on my leg which makes walking difficult.   I was upset but they were so, so kind.   I'm a true believer in karma. You get what you give, whether it's good or bad.  I believe if you do good deeds, that's all you get back.   I have always wished that for myself and now I wish that for them.   There need to be more Rob & Matts in the world.   <br /> They are assets to your company.    <br /> With gratitude <br />

Company was punctual, generically professional, but there was a theft involved.   <br /> Company refuses to admit any wrongdoing.  Reconsider paying a lot of money to bring people you don't know into your home. <br /> This is an open case. <br />
