111 Grading and More

I hired Randy the owner of 111 Grading and more to extend my garage. After hearing excuses, being told his men would come work and never showed up half the time, after breaching the contract that clearly stated it would be finished within 3 weeks, no longer than four months, I pulled the plug at 6 months and told him not to come back. I ask for a 3K refund out of $30,907 that I gave him so I could finish the project. He agreed to refund me the 3K but as of this date I haven?t seen a dime. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN OR 111 GRADING AND MORE !

This is a detached garage build that includes a loft. Do not know how these people live with themselves. 1st draw 12/11/2025 , concrete work began, 2nd and 3rd draw made 12/12/25 for construction materials. Here it is now 05/06/2026 and maybe 1/3 of the work is complete. We have been given so many excuses that I do have to give them credit for their creative imagination to come up with some of these excuses. They come every other week and work approximately 6 hours. We have contacted the licensing commission in Ga (Secretary of State). Technically he is in "breach of contract" and we pray we do not have to go down that avenue. Our court system has enough to deal with besides dealing with poorly managed small construction companies. Do not hire for timely work and so far we would not pass any inspection.

Do not hire this company! We made the mistake of hiring them to build a deck and screen porch. The owner was very enthusiastic to get started in January. He collected the first 2 draws and began work. Two days later, we found out he had started without a building permit. So the city shut down work until that was corrected. Then he worked to the point to collect the third draw. Now he had about 95% of the cost and literally stopped coming. In 68 days he came 8! He had a variety of excuses and never took responsibility. This was supposed to be a 2 week job. After 3 months we fired him, cut our loses and hired another contractor to finish the job.

Project started July 3,2025 supposed to be done in 8 weeks. As of today, April,16 2026. It is not even halfway done, the work is not to code. They left for months during all the holidays, August 2025 to Feb 2026, all our balconies wide open no rails, over 2-3 stories High Very Very dangerous, Left piles of wood and debris with nails and sharp metal pieces all over the yard and destroyed landscaping, driveway and sprinklers . It was not safe for our kids or pets to be at our house at all. When the did show back up in Fed. they did a little work and asked for a draw always with excuses. They only do half the job and ask for more money. Only working a couple of days if that. We fired them, Job Is not finished at all and we will have to have it redone, again not even close to code. You need to know this so it dose not happen to you.

111 Grading and More did a great job on our back deck. They are a great company that can do it all. The price was very fair compared to other companies and their work was amazing. Throughout the project they kept up great communication! We will definitely be using them again and would recommend them.

I hired 111 grading and more to build me a custom deck . I was satisfied with there craftsmanship and there knowledge and there friendly service .I'm enjoying my deck and I recommend them and will be using them for my future projects.
