Laurence would come and go over a two week period. He did not do a very good job matching brick of my 1940s home. He charged $2900 for four areas as well as chimney cap. It was so strange to me that he would show up one day, then gone for two or theee days. I would t recommend

What we discussed and what I got where two different things. I own an 1890 3 story Victorian home that needed the fieldstone foundation and brick wall above it rebuilt. During our consultation I had specifically asked about the mortar used and if it would be close to the original hydrated lime and sand. I was told it would be. What was actually used was an S premix with added sand and Portland cement. Not quite the same, but since it was a rebuild and a small portion of brick wall I was ok with it. I may regret my choice 100 yrs down the road when I?m in my grave. The price was in the mid range to all the estimates I got. What I did like is that they added an L shaped lintel steel beam for added support for the brick wall above the foundation. All the other estimates I got didn?t include. Since there was some cracks in the wall above it was definitely a great idea. At first they tried to get away with putting it on the outside of the wall instead of tucked inside the wall. Which would have meant I would have a steel beam on the outside of the exterior. That did get corrected and overall came out great. What I didn?t like was that they left several old posts that they thought they would need to use in my yard as if I was their own personal dump. I called the owner several times and left multiple messages for them to come and pick up but they never did nor returned my calls. I would recommend them for jobs that wouldn?t be considered a restoration just because of the mortar used.

I needed to repair the brick and stone in the basement of our 1904 home. Lost Art was quick to provide a quote and complete the work. The end result looks great, and I'll use them for future projects.

We needed Tuck Point work on our house. They quoted a fair price and said next Thursday would be the Tuck Point and the next day they would acid wash the work. Well, they showed up on time and did a fantastic job. The crew was professional, timely, on budget and the craftsmanship was excellent. While replacing 30 windows in a 5-plex rental property we discovered much of the concrete was deteriorating along the bottom of the windows and there was also considerable need for tuck pointing of the brickwork on the entire building which was built in the early 1950's. Larry was the first Company that was able to look at the property quickly and only one other company even returned my call. Larry showed up early for our appointment and was able to start the project a day ahead of what he originally estimated. Henry and his helper Felix were very professional, knew exactly what needed to be done and did an excellent job. I was very pleased with the results.

We lucked out and had interior work for a business doing mostly exteriors during a rain spell. They came out the next day, and the work was done in a timely professional manner. They were on time and the finished product was beautiful!

The work was well executed. However, the mortar was not well matched. This was disappointing because I expected it to look better considering the price of the repair.
