Review for 1-800-Plumber+Air of Plymouth; 3030 Harbor Ln N #124; Plymouth, MN 55447 Exuberant $2,609.93 cost that excludes itemization of parts & labor, unnecessary work, and poor workmanship resulted in overall unprofessional repair. Leaking ball valve was not repaired, even though repair was driven by recommendation by 1-800-Plumber+Air plumber and existing copper piping was unnecessarily replaced. Repair request was to install a kitchen faucet, repair shut-off valves for kitchen faucet and exterior water faucet. Andrew was not very prompt, as he arrived past the 2-hour arrival window of 8:00am â  10:00am. Called 1-800-Plumber+Air at 9:23a.m. and 9:29a.m to find out when the plumber would arrive. During both phone calls, informed by Melanie that the GPS showed the plumber was 7 minutes away from the repair location. Obviously, that was not true, because, Andrew, the 1-800-Plumber+Air plumber arrived at 10:06am. (Outside of the 2-hour window). During the repair, Andrew replaced fully functioning copper pipe underneath the kitchen sink, and also piping leading to the shut-off valve for the exterior faucet. Furthermore, while reviewing the repairs with Andrew, he noticed and pointed out that the main ball valve (shuts off water to the entire house) was leaking. However, Andrew was unable to handle fixing the leaking ball valve, but failed to consult me, about how to proceed forward with the repair. Instead, Andrew came up with a â  sloppy workaroundâ  , which resulted in the leaking ball valve remaining in place AND installation of a new ball valve about 3 feet above the leaking valve. Clearly â  up sellingâ  by Andrew due to premise of repair that is driven by recommendation. Complete failure to make a proper repair, rather an opportunity to take advantage of a female customer by using unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices.

WARNING look elsewhere for plumbing help! Bad Quality: I have used 1-800-Plumbing for two projects a sewer line replacement and a leaky hose bib. Both projects resulted in leaks that were worse than the original condition (I.e. 100% of their plumbing work created new leaks from the new plumbing they installed) Bad Prices: Plumbing in the twin cities is not cheap, but this is a huge premium over going rates. e.g. over $200 for replacing a shutoff valve, $600 for a hose bib (excluding any new pipe work).

He was very knowledgeable, very efficient and in the end, even helped me clean grease out of a drain, leaving me with a free bottle of very good drain cleaner! Would definitely use these people again.

Tyler was prompt, knowledgeable, and also noted another small leak that I hadnâ t noticed. He fixed it without additional cost. I will for sure use this company again in the future for my plumbing needs.

They went above and beyond and helped me with other issues and didn't over charge me for it.

Tyler was concise about what was needed and didn't try any hard sales, which was greatly appreciated. He also drained our hot water heater and even shoveled our steps while waiting for the tank to drain!

Initial inspection missed a crack in a pipe which was clearly visible. The plumber who came to actually repair it was late and very unprepared. We had no sewer access for over a day which we were not warned about, The stink from the work forced me and my dogs outside. And the plumber kept retching on my lawn just a few feet away from where we were sitting. It was a pretty terrible experience.

They were very professional and were willing to do the work with our dogs bugging them all day.

I was very satisfied with the service I received from 1-800-Plumber. I needed to replumb my home due to widespread rust. The contractor I worked with was honest and respectful on the costs and access points needed by the crew. I was impressed that the crew was able to replumb my rambler in a single day! When the city inspector made an unexpected discovery that needed to be fixed (combustion air for gas appliances), my contractor worked quickly to correct the issue. Definitely a good company to do business with!

Firm provided estimates on bathroom remodeling and code updates.Looked at several different options .Noted that t do all of what we want to do, we should hire a general contractor.

My city requires a permit to replace a gas line. The company did not pull a permit from the city even when I asked it to. The company said it would do so and get back to me. That was weeks ago. I never heard back.
