I would not trust 1 Oak to remodel my doghouse! If you want problems, call these thieves today. They are currently involved in multiple lawsuits and license board complaints for violations such as abandonment of work.

This crew, led by Lester, performed a variety of tasks we asked of them, with attention to quality and timeliness. Lester is an excellent manager, caring, and pays great attention to detail. He supervised well, and also performed many of the task himself when he needed it done a certain way. He is professional, capable, and led the team to a very successful outcome. Price was very fair and no job seemed to be out of reach for them. We highly recommend them and in particular Lester as the project manager.

Another great company me and my wife met after we bought our first home in Los Angeles. They went above and beyond for us as they remodeled and renovated our entire property. They had the best price and their crew was super respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. Adam has very good ideas when we were planning our project that we ended up using and now we couldn t be happier. Highly recommend this company. I interviewed 3 other contractors and Joshua was the only one that said I could have exactly what I wanted for my bathroom remodel! He also gave me a flat rate as opposed to the other two contractors who were very vague as to what they would do and for what price. My bathroom is stunning and the Zen quality I wanted to achieve is perfect! Joshua went above and beyond my expectations in terms of making sure I was happy and extending himself (without any extra charge) for certain extras I wanted to add on during the process. It was reassuring to know that he was available to discuss the process every time I contacted him! I will be using him for the next remodel! Thank you, Joshua!!

This is the second time I used 1 oak remodeling for my home renovations. I just completed my driveway stamped concrete. Ask about the options for stamped, they got many! Crew cleaned up and worked diligently to get this project completed before the rain.

My experience with 1 Oak Remodeling started off as poor as poor can get. The January rains and winds caused damage to my roof and all the water drained into my 2 story house causing major damage. I wanted to find a one stop shop to fix it all and saw their remodels on Yelp. They were beautiful so I decided to bring them in for an estimate on something small to see how their prices were. Then maybe I'd throw them the big job of insulating, plastering and painting the ceiling and walls on two floors. So I call and schedule a time for an estimate on the roof repair. The guy that showed up didn't bring a ladder and blamed ME for not telling him the roof was extra tall (I told him it was two story, what else did he need to know?). Anyhoo, when the person found out I was getting additional estimates, they blew me off and told me they wouldn't come back. Well, that's when I decided to write a TERSELY worded review on yelp. I mean, I let them have it! (go ahead, look them up on yelp, I didn't remove the review, I just updated it). The next day, I get a DM from the owner Josh, profusely apologizing. He's telling me he's new to the business and fired the project manager who scheduled that estimate and to please give him another chance. He says he teared up at my review and wants the chance to make it right. Now in my mind, I'm thinking "no fucking way" but sure, he can come out and give me an estimate on the work and I'll submit it and the other estimates to the insurance company to get a fair payout. But NO WAY IN THE WORLD was I gonna use them. I mean, right!? And then he said something so magical, so marvelous, so miraculous, I was instantaneously transported to the wonderous world of make-believe, where Idris Elba worships me and cake has no calories. He said he would do the job for FREE... Ummm, what!? Something you need to know about me.... FREE is my favorite 4 letter word. It's better than cocaine, better than sex, better than sex on cocaine (not that I do that). The point is, the word FREE sends massive amounts of dopamine to the pleasure centers of my brain giving me a rush of sensation no man (or drug) has been able match in all of my years on earth. My goal is, and has always been, to get things as close to free as possible and I live my life by that mantra. "FREE FREE FREE." So naturally, after he said the word "FREE" and I came down from off the ceiling, I was intrigued... I mean, how much for "free"... are we talking an hour of labor? A can of paint? He said THE WHOLE FUCKING JOB! Now, because the drywall and paint is at minimum a $4K job, I'm like "come the fuck on!" I mean, I ain't no sucka. There's a scam in here somewhere. I'm just not seeing it yet. So, I say OKAY. Fully expecting "the drop" at any moment. And so we schedule the job... and reschedule the job... and reschedule the job... I kept having to reschedule because I kept finding other structural issues that had to be taken care of first before the drywall wen

Make sure the project manager is on the site daily. We had too many discrepancies that one of the workers could not answer. For instance if paint is part of the project make sure you know who is purchasing the paint

I would highly recommend them.
