Everything turned out very well, and it was a pleasure dealing with Scott, the owner. He really understood that the painting was going to be done while we were in the house, so he made sure that everything was back to a reasonably normal state before leaving each day. He and his crew really respected our home while doing the work, too. Furthermore, his foreman, Albert, was very trustworthy and ensured that the quality of the work was top-notch.

Affordable painting did a great job and a great price. They arrived on time and completed the job in a professional manner. I did notice that some areas needed a second (or even third coat of paint). The owner was very responsive. He came out a week later to complete the second coat and touch-ups himself. <br />

UPDATE: After they painted for four hours, I realized the pistol was gone. I contacted the police to let them know because I didn't want anything to happen with the weapon and have it come back on me. There was two painters that came into the house. Jason Hardin was one of the painters and the police said that they are investigating him because he has a record of being a thief. They haven't been able to find him yet according to what I've heard. They found the pistol in Hamilton, OH in the possession of a known felon drug dealer.

I love all the rooms and it made them look so nice and fresh. They did a great job in the details of my staircase and my crown molding. The cleaned up everything after doing all the painting and left me nothing to clean up which was very nice to come home to after a day of work. I think this is one of the best paint jobs I have seen in a home.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was for 8 man hours. I hired additional hours because they gave me a great rate for additional work. There were no additional charges to the original deal. They were absolutely fantastic. They worked very quickly and very well. They did a fantastic job and they didn't waste any time. I couldn't believe how much they were able to get done in the time they were here. I would definitely use them again.

They did a great job in all areas. Everyone was friendly and considerate, worked hard to complete the projects on schedule, and took pride in the quality of work. When a floor tile eventually came loose in a high traffic area, they came back and reinstalled it at no charge. We felt like the work was very good quality and they stand behind it. We will definitely use them again. <br />

The job went well. I had them for 8 hours total (4 each). The initial work I had hired them to do (paint the bedroom and hallway doors) was done within the hour, so they moved beyond that job to finish painting the trim elsewhere, including living room, dining room and kitchen. They were even nice enough to help move furniture as required. <br /> They also were careful to use drop cloths and to not track mud and snow into the house. <br />

The 2 guys went straight to work and painted all our doors and door facings nicely. We liked their work so much we have engaged them for a second coat in all as well as cutting in all the ceilings our last painter (not an Angie's List painter) failed to do. We look forward to them touching up all the nicks, scrapes and completing the finish work we have asked them to do next. Great job!

This job was the result of a special offering. My experience with other providers is that they come in and do what is minimally required and leave. This was not the case with Affordable Painting. <br /> <br /> They were punctual. There was some confusions on who was to supply the paint and they had to go out to purchase it. They made up the time they were gone. They were thorough and professional. They voluntarily sanded doors that were fought, which made a world of difference. The workers never slacked off and made good use of their time. The walked through everything with me to guarantee satisfaction. They also cleaned up thoroughly. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

this was an angies list big deal that I bought. <br /> scott,the owner was responsive on the call back, we talked over details over the phone. I was able to get the discounted price on the paint.(Home depot Behr paint, top rated paint ). The workers pre called in the morning to say when they would be there. <br /> This is the big difference from other discounted services that I have used, they showed up in a work truck with all the right tools, drop cloths, step ladders, with-in minutes they were on the job ready to work. <br /> Quality was very good, nice clean lines, no slop, no spots on my floors. This may all seem obvious but I have used other painters where I have had to touch up and clean up the following day. <br /> <br />

Over a year ago I began refinishing and painting a few rooms in my house, but I could never find the time or motivation to paint the detailed trim work. After staring at my unfinished trim for the last year and a half, I purchased Angie's Deal of the week for 8 hours of interior trim painting. Scott sent over two employees over within a week after I purchased my Angie's Deal. "The Areas that were not painted were not contracted to be painted, which were the inserts in the door windows. They had never been painted so they were not included in my contract. Every time my company was contacted by this customer I returned his calls and later made a special trip to the job site. I told him when I got there that the inserts were never painted and not a part of my contract and he was never charged for them to be painted. I never take any money up front, I am not paid until the job is complete and the customer walks the job with me or one of my painters and is satisfied. I sent a painter out there on a Saturday to do all final touch ups and receive payment for the completed job. At that time they were very happy with the job, so happy in fact, that hired my painter on the spot to hang shutters. It just seems like to me they were so worried about getting their shutters hung that they were not thinking about hiring him to do the inserts, and now they want me to come and do them for free. If I had been called the day of the touch ups I would have went on ahead and had my painter do the inserts for free. My time is very valuable too and we take pride in everything we do. I am very sad that I could not make this one customer happy, I would like to make 100% of my customers happy. But I am glad that at least 98% of them are happy. Thank You, Scott Wyatt"

We had never painted an entire house before. I secured a number of bids, but was impressed with Scott's ability to not only paint the house, but repair rotting wood, take care of the decks and use quality products like Sherwin Williams Duration paint. Scott's price was very affordable for the amount of work that needed to be done. Scott and the team arrived on time each day and worked all day. They did a great job - they were very clean and the paint looks fantastic. The lines are very clean and they were able to work around our landscaping as well. They walked through the job with me after it was completed and took care of the very few minor things I asked them to do. All in all we were extremely happy with the job they performed and would recommend them to others. When we are ready to tackle our 2 story foyer, we will definitley call Scott. <br />

They did a good job painting the outside of the house. When we had them do the inside, some of the employees showed up drunk and/or high. Scott (the owner) had to ask them to leave, which was a good thing. Inside, they marked up the walls, they didn't put up back any of the switch plates, they said they would come back and touch up some areas but they didn't. They insisted on using toxic (antimicrobial paint) instead of what I suggested. And they told us it at the last minute and we had to find a hotel. When we got home, there was paint spilled on the floor.
