1 & Dunn Appliance Repair

We were very pleased in every respect. We really needed same day service if possible and he agreed to add our job to his schedule at the end of a long day. He arrived when committed and performed the repair efficiently - got us up and running again quickly. Our laundry equipment is quite old (the old stuff lasts for years - worth repairing) and we'll definitely use him again if needed.

At first, I thought things were going well. I wrote a review that praised this company, too. It has now been removed. We had to wait for three days after promised, not knowing if the man would show up again or not after failing to actually do the repairs on the day be said he would handle the work for us. The man had asked for money and was paid, and then didn't return as promised. When he did come, he had to have more money. His attitude was arrogant, unlike he had sounded on the phone initially. The work was finally done, but he left a mess that I had to clean up. This whole experience upset us, and we will not hire 1 @ Dunn ever again.

Mr. Dunn diagnosed the problem and I paid the trip charge. The dryer required a new controller board, which was expensive and had to be ordered. It was less expensive to buy a new dryer. The problem was Mr. Dunn's reliability. I called and set the appointment for a Thursday and arranged to work from home. Mr. Dunn did not show up. He called to let me know that he could not be there because of other work that took longer than he expected. He rescheduled for Friday, said he'd be there between 12 and 2 and did not show up. He called long after he was supposed to arrive and asked that we reschedule again to the following day. Mr. Dunn said I'd be the first on the list and he would arrive between 10 and 12. He finally got there at 1 p.m.

Mr. Dunn repaired my dryer and the repair did not take long. Unfortunately, he did not show up when he originally told me he would be here. I called earlier in the week and Mr. Dunn said he would arrive the following day. He did not show up then, nor did he come the next day when he said he would be there. He did finally come today, Saturday, an hour later than he said he would arrive. He is a nice man and obviously competent, however I did not appreciate having to make arrangements for someone to be home three days in a row. He did give me trip charge discount, so it was $65 instead of $75.

Was very professional and nice, got right to work and was able to find out what was wrong with it in a matter of minutes.

He quickly repaired both the dishwasher and refrigerator. <br>And, he is very honest <br> <br>

Mr. Dunn called when he was on his way to verify I was at home and still needed his services. Once he got here, he was able to diagnosis the problem almost immediately. The drain used for defrosting was stopped up. He quoted what it would cost to fix the problem and once I agreed he began the repair.  He took it apart and unclogged it, put it back together and it is now working just fine. I was very impressed with the straight forward way Mr. Dunn conducts business, no trying to fluff prices or feed you a line. I will definitely be using Mr. Dunn again in the future for any appliance repairs I need. He also does Handyman Services which I will not hesitate to use. <br>

Tommy was able to come out within a day of being called and made multiple calls to find the needed part. He showed up when promised and got everything fixed very quickly. His parts come with a 90 day warranty and labor comes with a 30 day warranty. All in all a quick and easy experience, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing any appliance repair work done.

Tommy was very efficient at diagnostics and repair. He and his assistant worked quickly, thoroughly, and cleanly. I called him over the holiday weekend and he squeezed us in on Monday to a very full schedule. He kept us informed of the schedule a couple of times in the day. And he was very pleasant when we called to check in too. We were glad he could fit us in. He took the time to clean up and check any other possible problems with the appliance. Great service and the refrigerator and freezer seem to be fine so far. We have a 30 day warranty on the work if there are any hiccups.
