From the very first conversation, Steven demonstrated a level of professionalism and passion for his craft that immediately set him apart. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and brought ideas and suggestions that elevated our vision beyond what we originally imagined. The workmanship is absolutely outstanding. Every board is perfectly laid, every joint tight and precise, every detail attended to with obvious care. This isn’t the kind of work you see from someone just going through the motions — it’s the work of a true craftsman who takes enormous pride in what he builds. The finished deck is not only beautiful but built to last.

The bathroom remodel was wonderful. Price wa fair. The tilework was great. Took a little longer than planned but the results were worth waiting for.

Our deck project with Steve Quinn started out well in July 2025. Steve appeared to know what he was doing and said the project would only take a few weeks. By Aug, Steve ran into some issues (e.g., the township required 8x8 posts) but he assured us things would progress quickly. By Sept, he stopped coming as often. We would text or call him and he would show up for a couple of hours and then disappear again for two weeks. He had many excuses for the delays. We have not seen him since early Dec 2025. He has now stopped responding to our texts and calls. At his request, we paid in advance for almost the whole project. Disturbingly, we discovered he ran a company called ?Quinn Construction? out of Rochester, NY that has many 1 star reviews from people whose projects he abandoned after receipt of payment. Also 1st Choice Renovations (unlike First Choice Renovation) doesn?t have a website. It seems Steve Quinn is not running a legitimate business and by ghosting us, will cost us thousands.

Steve explained changes needed due to township requirements and adjusted without changing agreed upon cost. He finished all work as agreed to, and I am completely thrilled and pleased with my new 12x32 foot deck.

I hired Steve to frame and drywall an unfinished section of my basement to create a home gym, and I’m extremely pleased with the results. He was professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail throughout the project. The framing was solid and precise, and the drywall work was smooth and well-finished. He completed the job on time and left the space clean and ready for the next phase. I would highly recommend him for any framing or drywall projects.

Our deck project started out fine, and Steve was doing good work. he ran into a few problems due to the non-typical nature of our planned deck, and started showing up less and less often. A few weeks ago, once some difficult 8x8 posts were raised, he said the rest should go pretty quickly, then he seemed to fall off the face of the earth. He has communicated with us only twice in the past 18 days, and I've lost confidence in his willingness or ability to complete the job. Oh, BTW, he also asked for part of the final payment early so he could continue work. Haven't seen him since then.

Steve is amazing. I wish I can give him more than 5 stars. We are so pleased and impressed to find Steve to remodel our guest shower. He actually delivered what he promised us verbally. We highly recommend Steve for any house improvement work. Million stars for amazing work ??????

It was a really good service. We were very happy with the service. They got it done in a timely manner. They were quick and we were surprised with that. They didn't take a lot of breaks, they just focused on the job.
