Unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with the followup. After the garage was installed on March 31 I was told I will be emailed receipt and warranty and to call back if any problems. I sent several emails and called numerous times to request the receipt/warranty and have them come look at the issue with the door. The 3 times I was able to get hold of anyone, we set up time for them to come and they never showed up, never called, never returned my calls. It's been 2 months and I still don't have any paperwork and my garage door has issues. Very unprofessional!

I am very pleased with my garage installation. They were able to schedule my appointment the very same day. Very nice on the phone as well as the installer. I felt like they really appreciated me as a customer. I called another company to get a price quote and I felt like I was being brushed off. Not with 1st choice. Amazing customer service. Any questions I had were answered. I highly recommend them.

Garage door wouldn't lower though motor appeared to be functioning. They sent out a contractor on a Sunday without an additional weekend surcharge. When he arrived, determined pretty quickly that the door was just stuck and that the opener was mechanically sound. Offered to do maintenance/lubrication at a discounted price, which I gladly accepted. Works perfectly now. I really appreciate that they did not try to push some kind of expensive repair that wasn't needed. Contractor was knowledgeable, very friendly and efficient.

Dave and his wife came out promptly to provide us our estimate and equally prompt when they came to install our garage doors. They are nice and professional and the work completed is excellent. They came in nearly $400 under the next closest bid and we couldn't be happier. Dave is a no nonsense business owner and just does a good job. I would recommend them to anyone.

Prompt, respectiful and job well done at a fair price

Great to have someone come out for an emergency on a Friday evening. Called at 4:45 PM --- they returned my call and came out very quickly - analyzed and fixed the problem and were very professional and very reasonable. We were impressed.

Due to a family emergency, the contractor could not make his original appointment, but came after 7 pm that night and again 2 days later with parts and completed the job while I was at work teaching school and my dad was at my house to let him in.

A spring broke on my garage door. I called a company that a family member recommended and was told they couldn't schedule someone for 3 days. After calling around to 5 or 6 different places, I went to HomeAdvisor. 1st Choice Garage was the very first to call me (within 5 minutes). 1st Choice sent Elijah out within the hour. He installed two new springs in less than an hour. He was professional and courteous. The best part - 1st Choice was the least expensive of all the quotes I received. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again. Thanks 1st Choice!

They were quick to respond to install the door, but the quality of the door is poor. It squeaks going up and down. We called them and said they would be out that Wednesday or Thursday. We called them on Monday because they never showed up. They came the next day sprayed lubricant. It was squeaking the following day. We still have yet to get a receipt by email.

They were very quick to call after submitting HomeAdvisor request. Gave a reasonable quote and prompt service. Needs to clean up better after touching garage door with greasy hands; cleaned inside of garage door but not outside and the brackets on door were left with greasy prints. Said they were going to e-mail receipt but have yet to get one. Very friendly.
