Stephen gets an excellent rating with me. . He came by gave me an estimate . Gave me an honest opinion on what my problems were. His customer service skills were above excellent; his care and quality of his work was again above excellent . He did the job and cleaned up after the work was done. If you hire him, you will get an excellent job and his prices are very fair. I have to see if the new gutters solve my problems with my massive wet almost swampy back yard; but if i need a drainage system installed in my one section of my backyard; you bet i will hire this gentleman again...Very honest , knowledgable , very respectable young man....Way to go Steve! It was great !! Stephen came and cleaned all our gutters, one was plugged pretty good, he flushed everything and then took pictures of all the clean gutters . Will definitely have him back next year !

I knew immediately upon speaking with Stephen that he was organized and professional. He explained the process of gutter cleaning and took the time to take pictures and send them to me after he clean them out. To me the pictures of the clean gutters not only attest to his trustworthiness but also to the pride he takes in his work. It was a pleasure doing business with Stephen and I will not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends.

Stephen Bodo is a dream come true: a responsible, knowledgeable, dependable. reasonable and personable general contractor. We had to get a good day scheduled that worked with the weather, but he did and he did a great job. House looked clean, gutters were done, and inspected with some pictures to show problem area.

Very well! Steve arrived when he said he would, explained exactly what he was doing and why, and got everything done quickly and efficiently. He gave me some great advice after I asked him a couple of questions. I'll definitely hire him again for gutter cleaning, and may try to hire him for installation of gutter shields if we decide to get them.

Stephen, first came to clean my gutters and then I asked him what, if anything, could be done to fix the gutters to prevent the clogging from happening in the future. He suggested some repitching of the gutters, a few leak repairs and the installation of shur Flo gutter guards. I asked about a few other items that had been suggested to me over the years by other contractors and instead of simply trying to upsell me on something that didn't make sense, he saved me a ton of money through honestly going through the options and explaining the most effective solution for my situation. I then researched the shur Flo product and found it to be of extremely high quality. The installation went smoothly, Stephen showed up on time, walked me through the install and patiently answered all of my questions. I would absolutely recommend 1st Choice General Contracting to friends and family and have already passed this information on to my parents who need gutter work done as well. Thank you Stephen for your honesty and professionalism!

Great! Stephen (owner/operator) was very knowledgeable and professional, and excellent at communication, which can be rare these days. He did a thorough cleaning, took photos as he went along, and explained in detail what he encountered during the cleaning with regard to gutter conditions, pitch, etc. Cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. We will definitively be using 1st Choice again.
