Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
We had some damage to our roof from Florence. I called 1st and Robert came out and gave us a very reasonable price for repairing the roof. They also checked all of our roof to make sure there were no other problems. All and all a very good experience.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
Robert from 1st Maintenance showed up Monday after I was contacted on Saturday, gave me a quote and told me they would be back the next day to take care of the shingles that had blown off. After not hearing from Robert the next day I called and was told they would be there the following day to take care of the shingles. The day came and went and still No 1st Maintenance showed up. Wednesday morning Robert showed up and apologized for them not being here earlier but they have been working on drying in a customers home that there roof had blown off and they would be here Friday or Saturday. I explained that we would not be home over the weekend. When we returned home Sunday the shingles had been installed and the left overs were left for me. Over all they did a great job just wish 1st Maintenance would have let me know earlier so I would not have been concerned.

Vinyl Siding Install or Completely Replace
After Hurricane Florence hit they were very prompt in coming out to assess the work we needed.. Within a week of the damage they repaired my siding and the work was done. I am very satisfied with their work and the pricing was great. I would highly recommend them.

The quality of the repairs was excellent. They showed up on time and finished the project in one day. The rates are reasonable and they leave a totally clean work site. Will definitely call 1st Maintenance for any future repair needs.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
We called First Maintenance and they responded immediately. They showed up the same day to inspect the repair needed. They came first thing the next morning as promised and repaired shingles. We would definitely use 1st Maintenance again!

The project was extremely poor quality. Based on the business owner's libelous response, I must add that the business owner himself tried to lie his way out of responsibility for the poor quality work. I was contacted by Home Advisor and asked to provide proof that the business owner actually performed the work. After I provided proof the work was, in fact accomplished by 1st Maintenance, my review posted. And please note that my comment was simply that the work was of very poor quality. However, as you can see, the business owner chose to take the low road and post a venomous, libelous response that is, itself, nothing but another attempt to lie his way out of taking responsibility for the poor quality work on my project. And this will be my last comment on this matter. I am not about to engage in a tit-for-tat war of words over this issue. Lastly you will note that most of glowing reviews of this business owner's work is related to roofing projects. He should stick to roofing because he certainly cannot install a knee wall in a screen porch or replace a door without destroying the trim on the inside of the door. 'Nuff said.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
I had a roof leak on a day when it rained all day, heavily at times. I called to schedule a repair hoping they could come in the next few days. Well, they came the same day, less than an hour after initially calling them, climbed on the roof, gave me an instant quote that was more than fair, and did the repair right away, while it was still raining! My roof was fixed 2 1/2 hours after first calling, hasn't leaked for the rest of the down-pours that day, and all for a price lower than what I expected. Awesome experience all the way around. Highly recommend the company 1st Maintenance for remodeling, repairs, and maintenance. Licensed and bonded. 843-516-2132 - Owner Robert Arida - maintenance.robert@gmail.com I recently hired 1st Maintenance to paint interior walls, trim and doors, replace carpet with hardwood, and repair water damage/rescreen on a back porch. The Owner made sure there were sufficient workers at all times until the work was done (no delays), he supervised the job daily, did not change the price for small to medium changes and was very flexible on pricing for the project and large changes. The workers were professional, hard working, thorough and constantly helped me with projects I was doing myself. The end result turned out great! Thank you Robert!

I contacted 1st Maintenance through HomeAdvisor, Robert was one of only two companies that took the time to meet with us and determine what we wanted and needed to get done. he met with us per our schedule not his & went over in detail what it would cost. they did an excellent job and I was completely satisfied with the quality & job that Robert and his crew did for us. I bid my roofing job here in Home Advisor and had quite a few responses and got quotes from 4 pros. I decided to go with 1st Maintenance because Robert came in and really listened to what I was telling him about our upcoming home sale and relocation to the DC area. He was not the cheapest but he seemed extremely qualified as we walked around the house as he inspected my old roof and made comments on how he would have done the roof differently and also explained why it would make a difference. The suggestions in no way increased my price so it wasn't he was trying to upsell me, but rather educating me and pointing out how much he knows about the business. He installed on the date he said he would and they showed up on time every day. When they found bad wood under the roof, which I already knew was very likely from the problems I had been having, he gave me an extremely fair price and my neighbor who is a retired roofing company owner came over and went up the ladder and checked it out and agree 100% with Robert's assessment and pricing. The roof looks amazing and we were so impressed with Robert and his crew we ended up using them to do our entire exterior paint, three rooms inside, and a repair of our interior ceiling where the sheetrock tape was sagging at the seam of our 16ft vaulted ceilings- and it's flawless. I was sure it would stick out like a sore thumb as the ceiling paint is 26 years old (original), but you cannot tell it was every touched. After the house inspection revealed some dry rot and other minor structural maintenance requirements I again turned to Robert and again he did the work for a fair price with excellent results. Even the inspector commented how good the work was when he came back to confirm the repairs. And finally our water heater leaked and shorted out and Robert was also able to do that work and replace it this time saving me about $125 from what our regular plumber was going to charge. I know this might read like a too-good-to-be-true review , but it's not. 1st Maintenance helped us turn our house into a gem that got an offer and contract after only 3 days on the market. That's golden, and so is Robert and 1st maintenance. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
