*BEWARE* Ask Malik Stevens for his Lic# and check with State Contractor's board on his business practices. Next you should also ask him if he has been arrested for Contractor Fraud and was ordered to pay back money at any time for criminal and/or civil reasons. Ask him specifically if he is bonded and insured by him providing you with bonding info, type and amount of insurance, and with whom he is insured. These are things I wish I had done prior to hiring him. Get everything in writing! I would suggest these things with any Contractor you hire. What was supposed to be "an easy 2 day job" turned into months with endless excuses. After a year of litigation and work still unfinished, he has turned to personal threats instead of abiding by court order that he agreed to.

Malik and his guys kept me updated throughout the process and left me with no need to be worried. Every question/concern I had was answered in a timely manner. These guys so great and professional work.

If you have any kind of water damage, definitely get the area checked out to see how far the water traveled and let the professionals clean it all up properly

Malik. and his team were beyond diligent to their services. Malik's team was meticulous and very attentive on every aspect of the project. From keeping me informed in every single process, as well as giving me real time updates. Above and Beyond is not even enough to say what they did, When it came to removal of debris and wood etc., from flooding. They were very rapid with their process to remove all of the above, When it came to the mold remediation, the Chemicals and The equipment was state of the art. Every single aspect of this job was executed flawlessly. Malik from the beginning of this process treated me as not just a friend, But more like a partner in this project. Proud to say I would hire 1St response for any other situations that may arise.
