Communication was prompt. Ray came by and provided an estimate which was very reasonable. I hired him for the work and he performed as he committed! Great job! I even called him back to do an additional job.

I hired a contractor through Angi (1st Choice) to repair my front door frame after it was kicked in. While the frame itself was repaired, the overall workmanship was very sloppy. The painter painted it multiple times (around five) and the frame still looks uneven and poorly finished. The contractor also changed my lock without informing me. Now my smart security system constantly reads the door as ?jammed,? so my alarm thinks the door is open 24/7 and I can?t properly arm my system. I now have to pay my security company to come out and fix it. Another issue was the bottom of the frame. What I thought was wood was actually caulk the contractor told me and later a random square piece of wood was nailed there that doesn?t match the frame. Unfortunately my husband and I were not home to supervise, which was our mistake. Trying to save money ended up costing more because now I have to hire a professional to redo parts of the repair. The first 3 Pic is how my door should look.

"You are the most ..........and I only charged 220 dollars so I didn't paint it and you called cussing at me .your right the door was kicked in ,I cant imagine why . Never saw anyone act the way you did. I wouldn't even think of sending any of my guys back to work for you .you hired me off a list and you expect a million dollar look. I never agreed to paint anything so good luck with you dollar general house also put you a new lock on then put yours back on after finding out it wouldn't work"

Raymond said he would sand down the wood and paint. It started to rain lightly so he said he could not stick around until rain stopped. Forgot to bring his paint but we had paint still did not complete the job. We paid him. He put chalking on the brick. He said we could remove that ourselves.

I cant believe how some people just want to bad mouth someone for what.. do you feel better now that you may have costed me possibly a number of jobs. Do not hire this guy. Got lazy, screwed up drilling holes for ballisters. Tried to cover it up by putting extremely thin pieces of shaved 2 x 4 which I was able to just pull off by hand. He got mad cause I told him this was shoddy work. He put thicker slices of board but only did 3 and left 3 which I am going to have to repair myself. He also kept increasing the price. 800 Dollar to start but ended up being about 2500. He kept saying home depot lumber was crap. I said then why did you buy it? Left without one word. This guy is showed up a week late and then left early saying he didn't feel good. Then complained that he had been here three days. Actually 2 and a half. He got lazy, did bad work then acted like a two year old when I complained. I trusted this guy and he did lousy work

"It's amazing how you can get outta bed.you forget to tell everyone about the material and money that I saved you.and yes I did get sick im border diabetic my sugar had dropped because it was 96 degrees I got there at 6 and left around 1 so as it is I own the company and I set the hours im going to wwork.you work at home depot and to fat to get out and do the work yourself. Just quit crying.if I lose 1 job over this were gonna have some fun some day"

Ray gave me an estimate on the cost of materials labor and estimated time to remove old deck and to replace all old material. He arrived early and worked delgently in the hot sun even thru rain showers. The replacement materials were top quality and the workmanship is beyond question of high quality and craftsmanship
