1st Response maintains our furnace annually. Tristan came by this last time, did a great job, and answered all of my questions.

These guys are great! I learned a ton about my furnace, filters and maintenance - they even alerted me to an unnecessary filter on the intake vent in the house that was creating an extra load on the furnace. Gave honest, educated answers, worked quickly and saved us money on our energy bill almost immediately. Will definitely call on them for routine maintenance (or problems if we encounter them) in the future.

Heat pump installed 2 years ago had some repair issues. Braxten and crew weren't satisfied with the manufacturer's response and replaced the heat pump at no charge to me. They were professional and their integrity is top notch.

First of all it was supposed to take 2 days to install but promised us they would at least have the heating coils done the first day so we wouldn't be with out heat. When they showed up to the house they were a few hours late but said they had a full crew and would finish the first day. This did not happen. At 9:00 at night they said they couldn't get it done that day and said they had melted a sensor on the unit so would be back in the morning to fix it. At noon the next day we called them because they hadn't shown up or called. A few hours later they finally arrived. Replaced the part and said everything was fixed. 30 min after they left we tripped a breaker. Called them up sent out a tech who said they hadn't installed the correct breaker and it would have to wait for the next day for an electrician to fix. Finally the 3rd day an they got it going. 3days without heat in January. Fast forward 6months. They used undersized wire to install the heat pump which lead to wires melting almost causing a house fire. When we called to complain and get it fixed Braxton said that has nothing to do with 1st response and we had to call the electrician they subcontracted to do the wiring. Took no responsibility and completely unprofessional and unhelpful. Do not use this company! Could have lost the house do to their incompetence.

Had some misunderstanding but the project was completed to my satisfaction in the end.

Very pleased with selecting 1st Response. The price was competitive and the quality of workmanship very good. I intentionally delayed providing a review to allow time for any issues to arise and thus far, the equipment has been trouble free and performs as designed. During the installation, there was an issue with the thermostat that required a couple days to resolve, however, there was never a concern that 1st Response would not meet its obligations. The team was professional in appearance and demeanor while at my house. Absolutely would hire again...
