207 Plumbing and Heating

The dumbest thing I had done was use Lowe's to pick a third party. I should have known anyone that is using a third party for customers means they are not that good. Kind of like attorneys wanting clients on TV. TWO STARS for the lively voice only. Was told they would show up at 12 and by 12:33 I called and left a message...don't come since you're late. I get a text later and 207 says that they were coming between 12-2pm. What? Lowe's customer support called out of N.J. and 'asked how did it go?' HA! Take a look at the other review sites for no showing or stringing people alone.

We recently utilized Angi to find a contractor to service our 85 year old uncles furnace. As we live approximately 2 hours away, and he does not have a computer, we looked up 3 plumbing contractors in his area for him. He reached out to 207 Plumbing and Heating in Standish Maine and they came and completed the service. He called us after they left and had paid the bill and he was very upset with the price he paid. (about $1300) They replaced a couple of parts, which we reached out to a local furnace contractor about and they confirmed that the prices they charged for the parts were outrageous! In addition, one of the parts that was supposed to have been replaced, appears to be the original part. A few weeks later when he went to use the furnace it did not work! He was hesitant to call the contractor back since they obviously took advantage of him. We found another contractor on Angi, who came out and fixed the problem for about $200.00. They were wonderful! We thought it was very important that you know this 207 Plumbing is NOT a reliable resource and I would hope they would be taken off the site. We have used Angi for not just our uncle, but our own projects and had great results other than this incident which is why we felt it so important to let you know. We feel legal action wont get our uncles money back and probably is not worth the effort.

Came home on a Tuesday afternoon and found leaking hot water heater. Started to call around. 207 actually answered the phone. Next day (Wed.) the Tech came and quoted me price. Thursday morning the Tech was here installing new water heater. Great work. Thank you.

Response was quick. All questions were answered. They sent a reminder of appointment and call to let me know they were on the way. They showed up at the door on time. Excellent service. Thank you

We were expecting a two day job but they finished the job in one day took out old boiler and put in new one excellent work

Plumber only works 2 or 3 days a week, he is actually retired. If you're in a hurry, you may want to shop around more. Nice man almost 70 years old.

Did a great job

Nice guy, but a average work.

First appointment he didn't fix the problem but he got paid. He was suppose to come back out to address the first call and clean my furnace. A NO show 2 times... the 2nd one was NO call or contact whatsoever. Its been 5 days and still not a word. Also I paid him for something and the problem still exists.. I would NOT recommend this company.

Excellent company. They completed each job professionally and completely. I am thankful to have found them.

Responded promptly to my inquiry. They were very professional and pleasant. Knew exactly what needed to be done and accomplished the project the same day.

Lack of communication. Never showed for the quote. Then cancels twice the day before on two jobs. Then never showed for the final job. Was 3 hours late for another job. So 3 times I was left waiting around all day for them to show up.

An emergency that needed the attention of 207 Plumbing & Heating resulted in a need to reschedule original appointment, which was fine with me. I appreciated Bill's great communications on that matter and on the work overall. Arrived to do work within scheduled window, and did fine and efficient work. I do recommend them to others.

Very prompt and communicate well. They were a day late because a family lost water, but they made sure we were ok with delaying our work. We were fine with it as our work was not an emergency.

They responded promptly and I was impressed with their professionalism. They definitely knew what they were doing. Communications were excellent and pleasant. We added a couple of "oh, by the ways" that were afterthoughts and they addressed them immediately.

My circulating pumps were making a whining noise. 207 replaced them with new smaller units. Work was done promptly. Nice clean install. Highly recommend this company.

It's a terrible, terrible company to do business with. He came and fixed a broken pipe, I asked him to check the rest of the pipe to make sure that nothing else was broken, he said everything was OK, charged me $219.00, for 45 minutes, never cleaned the mess he made, and left. I went to clean up the mess he left and found that there was more damage to the pipe. I called him to come back, which he did. He looked at the water coming down from the ceiling, into a light fixture, and said he had another job to go to and he couldn't come back until next week. He also wanted to charge me $350.00 to come back. I told him that was too much and he said he would make an exception and only charge me $219.00 to come back. Now I have major damage done to the ceiling, the light fixture and the floor. All of this could have been prevented if he had stayed and fixed the problem. I will not hire him again.

I hired this company to replace a shower drain in our master bathroom. He came out and gave me a free estimate. He told me exactly what the job would entail. We scheduled the appointment for a couple days out. He was prompt, Very professional. He demonstrated quality workmanship, and had excellent prices! Highly recommended!! Thannk you

Had an appointment for a cleaning and look into why there was a periodic lack of hot water issue on a Weds. Technician called the afternoon before and wanted to reschedule due to an emergency appointment. Not a big deal and he showed up on time two days later. Replaced a couple of air reliefs for $71 each ( a $25 part at most) but he did a great job, very personable and gave a 2 year guarantee on the parts. I would hire them again.
