At design painting and drywall we are committed to please with customer service and high quality work at a fair price. From a repaint, full paint restoration, drywall work, refinishing of cabinets, epoxy floors to a full interior paint job. He is differently abled. I did not have any problem with that. He made a lot of mess. Did not use tape to cover trims and windows. Paint was all over the place. The main problem is he did not finish the job. I paid him advance money (half of the project cost). He came one day and did not come the other day. I have to pay more money now to other painter not only to finish the job but also cleanup the mess. I would not recommend him for any job. Be very careful before hiring Chris painting. It would cost you more money by hiring him than hiring some one else.

Concrete Floor Coating Apply
Chris communicates to keep you informed of scheduling and appointments. If there is a need to change an appointment he sends a text and wants to know if the change is acceptable. He used good quality materials and is knowledgeable about paint and surface preparation. He let me do some of the prep work and advised me if I was doing it right. I like Chris and his work ethic.

Showed up on time - friendly personality - did not completely clean up after himself - left me with complete mess from popcorn ceiling debri dripped on furniture, walls, and lighting fixtures, (I have pictures) - dropped something heavy on kitchen counter leaving a triangular dent in counter top - broke wooden supports on inside cabinets - did not tape along crack in ceiling - shoddy paint job on cabinets (only noticed after job completed). The removal of popcorn on ceiling and painting of ceiling was finished nicely. My project was a tough job for one person. Would recommend Chris for small jobs, but would hesitate recommending him for large jobs. Again, this was a difficult job for ONE person.

"Her house was fully loaded to the point where you could not walk. She said she would unload it and she did not. I did the impossible for her and removed the popcorn ceiling and re-textured. Her cabinets were done right. Her counter was damaged before I got there. I am sorry she feels this way but she is mistaken. She paid me with a smile. No contractor would even attempt to work in an overloaded house."

Chris came right out when I called and he offered a reasonable price to repair the water damage on a couple of walls. However, he didn't match the existing paint very well and didn't clean up like he promised he would. He said he was going to cut out the questionable drywall but instead opted to cover the area with orange peel. When asked about it he said he never committed to cut out the damaged parts. He seemed rushed and anxious to get to another job.

"I did exact what I said for her. Quick to respond. It did not need to be cut out. I have twenty years experience as a drywaller. She said she was very pleased and played me. She got a five star treatment. I told her to call me if the paint did not patch. It was right on. I believe this person is a bigot. My other reviews prove him wrong."

He did excellent job applying the paint, however, he did not remove towel bars, light fixtures, or ceiling vents. He painted around them. I have new light fixtures to install and will have to paint the wall where the old light fixtures were before I can install my new lights.

Nice man, very respectful. But didn't arrive on time, rescheduled, and left during project for an awkwardly long amount of time. He didn't remember what he agreed to do. Quality of work is okay, price was very reasonable, but entire experience was awkward.

Responded immediately (on Saturday) offered to drop by same day (am) for estimate, since I had the paint and undercoat on hand started about 1:30 pm. Prep'd, undercoat, one top coat on Sat. came back next day (Sun) to finish job. Chris ran out of paint on the finish coat and went to Loews for another gallon. Great service!! He simply added the cost of the paint to the invoice.
