Brick, Stone or Block Wall Installation
I hired Brad to do a stone wall install. He let me know it would be a 2 day job and it took him 10 days. The communication was lacking to say the least. We always had to reach out to him to see if he was coming to work. He also decided to put a 4 inch piece of top cap in the middle of the wall instead of the end without asking us first. He did say he d come back to make it right but we d have to buy new pieces and then he rushed off. He also was asking for payment before the work was completed. My husband then called and asked why he didn t pull it off while it was still wet. So we actually ended up pulling it off and scraping the mortar for him. He came back a few days later and put the top cap back on before we could even see it he was demanding payment. I finally told him once I saw the work I d pay him. I got home it was done I told him how hard he was to work with and he responded with what does that have to do with him getting paid. I paid Brad, then to realized he totally messed up the flashing. Instead of having integrity in his work he just left it knowing it would eventually ruin the siding. This was a very frustrating experience.
