2nd Nature Lawn Care

I'm disappointed that I have to write such a negative review for a company that started so promising. Do NOT hire this company! Victal, the owner, decided he didn't think it was important to finish the job even though he was paid in full. He asked for the second installment so that he could pay for the fees at the dump. He was supposed to trim my large trees in the front yard and seed the lawn after he scalped it. However, he kept telling me he would finish the job, but after 3 similar responses without actually doing the work, he stopped communicating entirely. It's now been almost a full month since we agreed to move forward with the work. I now have to go through Small Claims Court to obtain the money I paid him. I also will request Home Advisor remove him from their recommended lawn and tree care companies. I made the mistake of trusting Victal based on the initial shrub removal that was done well, but should not have paid until the work was fully completed as per our contract. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as well. Use another service and don't let this happen to you!

I have a very old house. He had to dig up the system and stop leaks. He worked all day and did a great job. I would definitely hire him again.

They were always rescheduling overpriced work.

Did not rake the yard for a finished project, did not spray when he told me it was done, no paper trash picked up, had to ask why the papers were all over, new vegetation not pulled up. Was not open to completing the job, settled for $45.00 less due to unwillingness to complete project. Would not spray as job contract indicated.

Did good work. Pleased with the job done. Reasonable/affordable fee. Very clean overall when finished. Would recommend.
