Legal Action pending against 2 River Group. Do not hire this company. I hate leaving bad reviews, and 2RG did offer to compensate me to avoid leaving this review, but no other homeowner should experience this. I hired 2RG to address and repair a rook leak in spring of 2022. Erin, the project scheduler, will assist until she loses interest. At that time, she will not return phone calls or messages. Scott, the owner (As I understand it), will offer false reassurances of the group's interest in completing the job. Once he loses interest, he will no longer return calls or messages. The blithe and disinterested dismissal of my requests to move forward with a resolution have now resulted in extensive destruction. Details 6/9/22 – Payment made for supposed completion of work to include Fiberglass Decking and Roofing Surfaces for interior leak. 6/27/22- Homeowner makes 2RG aware that the leak repair did not work, showing video of pooling water. Homeowner does not hear a response for 3 days. Evaluation with a leak test is planned. 7/21/22- Leak test performed revealing several other sites of leak including suspected leaks at fencing and among flashing between siding. 7/26/22 – Scott ensures that we will not be “left hanging”. Last call made to Erin on 8/8 @ 11:48 AM EST- No return call is ever received. Emails sent 7/22, 8/5, and 9/6. No reply received any email. Text messages are sent to Erin on 8/5 and 8/8. No reply to either message. Homeowner gives up on contact with Erin. After destruction of home in early October, with heavy rain, homeowner tries again to contact Erin, and reply received.

Our reputation speaks for itself. 2RG performed all work that we were contracted to do completely & successfully. We then turned this over to a reputable roofing company for remedy and where it went or did not go is the responsibility of the customer, not 2RG. There were multiple issues with the original construction of your property that have been identified by many contractors: roofing, siding, gutters, fiberglass decking, and fencing - all of which 2RG contacted and showed for inspections as a courtesy in good faith in an effort to try & help at zero charge to you, as we were never hired to act as a general contractor on your behalf. Not once in more than seven visits to your property, have you been there to meet with a 2RG representative, or any other contractor we provided. Additionally, you have not called our office one time in the last several months. In summary, we went above and beyond to help as an act of good faith, but certainly can’t be made responsible or held accountable for the multiple issues and deficiencies that you have with your home. In your own words, this property’s construction was a “disaster” and one that 2 River Group had no hand in. We will not be held liable for another company’s faulty workmanship and are under no obligation to be harassed into working for unreasonable customers. Overall, for the price they charged, I did not have an excellent experience with this company, which was what I was expecting. I suggest that you shop around, get the best price from a mold cleanup company that doesn't do there own initial mold air testing, which is something that I have learned is what most reputable mold cleaning companies do, and communicates better with their customers. Don't make the same mistakes I made.

However, we are a bit confused with some of the reasons stated here, so therefore wanted to take a moment to clarify because our customers' opinions matter to us: You had initially engaged us to come out to perform a mold inspection and indoor air quality test. Your reason for calling was due to the fact that you had a leak stemming from your refrigerator that caused visible water damage. Upon inspection and the subsequent mold testing analysis results from a third party (a nationally credited laboratory), it was confirmed that the visible signs of mold growth were elevated. We, then drafted a detailed scope of work that was submitted to your insurance carrier. Upon communicating with your claims representative - who confirmed that the suggested protocol be implemented - the project was scheduled. Upon commencing with the scope of work, we identified additional abatement that needed to take place and an unrelated deficiency that was in need of mitigation and thus completed both items - at no additional costs. Once the project was completed, you then hired another mold testing company to administer clearance testing that subsequently confirmed that there was now no-elevated levels of mold present, hence the remediation was a success. Finally, we are a bit perplexed with concerns to your being dissatisfied with our communication and responsiveness, as our office manager was in constant communication with you during the entire process and worked diligently to adhere to all logistical, follow up and scheduling needs. We work tirelessly to satisfy our customer to the best of our ability. Overall, we are sorry that you feel your experience was not ideal, but when it comes to the industry standard protocol with mold testing and overall best practices, we certainly comply with - and exceed all facets of compliance and ethics. I bought a house that had mold in the finished basement. I called for a consultation and quote. They were out within a couple days and had the quote to me within the hour. I was able to schedule the work within a week. They were punctual and easy to communicate with. The drywall was gutted, the walls were treated and the entire vent system was cleaned. All work was done in two days. I was very pleased with their service.

Just purchased a home in Beach Haven with some mold issues in the crawl space and they were excellent with educating me on costs and methods to re mediate so I could negotiate a fair settlement with the seller. Very pleased with the work they did in our basement. They were quick to respond and did a neat and thorough job. They removed the mold and restored the interior walls. They cleaned out the window well cavity and lined it with gravel and re-graded the topsoil surrounding it. The crew was very polite and friendly.

2River Group was the only team we talked to that had a solution to keep the water out of the basement instead of dealing with it once it came in. They executed the plan and suggested leaving the walls open through the next rainy season to be sure everything worked. We called them back when we realized one area was still getting water during some of the heavy rains we saw this spring. They identified the issue and rectified it. The team was pleasant and professional. They came when they said they would and completed the job on time My daughter had fewer sinus issues after the mold was taken care of

Two River Group discussed the results of mold testing that was done on a home inspection for a home we were buying... I had done my own research and knew what the issues were beforehand They were on the money with the discussion did not under or overestimate the issue. The came as planned on time did the work in a methodical manner. The repair or the Sheetrock that needed replacement was excellent actually better then the original I have just contracted with the to replace basement window wells and remediate a basement water issue Glad I have found this company !!

Two River Group was amazing. We originally hired them to work on mold removal when we moved into our new home. Then they ended up doing a lot of other little projects like laying a new floor and setting up our laundry room. Really nice workers and management is punctual and professional. And then when our house was hit by lightningc, they repaired the garage and made it look like new!

I recently had mold remediation in a severely neglected 50 year-old crawl space and attic clean-up done by 2 River Group. I could not be more pleased and satisfied. So my insurance company gave me a list of clean up service providers and I called every single one of them and they were all busy working on other peoples homes. It was an unusual cold stretch and these clean up agencies were turning down business because they were so busy. I was completely on my own. I must have called 10 clean up companies. I finally found 2 rivers on Angies List. They were listed as a restoration company and not necessarily a "clean up" company but I was desperate. I called at around 8PM at night and a guy named Tom Crocket(Owner) promised me he would be there at 7AM in the morning. Sure enough, Tom was there at 7AM like he promised. Tom took one look at the damage and got on the phone with his "people" and within 2 hours there was a dumpster in my driveway and a full crew of guys tearing out drywall, carpet, and tile floors. By the end of the day the dumpster was completely full. The very next day the dumpster was taken away and another one was delivered. Toms crew worked 12 hour days for about 8 or 10 days straight. I have a 7000 Sq Ft house so there was a ton of work to do. Tom and 2 Rivers did everything! Dealt with my insurance company, cleaned up, and they are in the process of restoring everything. Tom and 2 Rivers took TOTAL control and I did not have to do anything. They respected my home and they work diligently. I place total and complete trust in these guys, including giving them keys and security passcodes to my house and they never let me down. They work fast and they protected my house from further damage when they showed up on the very first day. I sincerely cannot say enough about these guys. When everyone else said no way, these guys showed up and did more than any contractor should have. What a relief!. I've dealt with hundreds of contractor throughout the years and most of them never do what they say they are going to do but these guys are different, much different. I highly recommend these guys. They're terrific. They are a little expensive but you seriously get what you pay for. My advice to anyone reading this is this. Just pay these guys to do the job the right way, so you don't ever have to worry about it again, and be done with it. With other contractors you'll actually be paying more in the long run because you'll have to pay someone else to fix their crappy work. Restoration is what these guys do, and they do it right the first time. <br />
