I'm not really sure what happened here. 3 Kings reached out to me to offer a roof quote. I called them back and the owner said he could offer me a great deal. He came out to the house and showed me some shingles and vent materials. I tried messaging him a few days later asking to look at the shingles one more time so I could decided between Dynasty or Nordic. He did not respond and I tried messaging him again a few days later. He then replied that he was no longer interested in helping me and to find a different roofer?? I was a little confused but just moved on. Then... a few weeks later, a 3 Kings employee knocked on my door and tried to sell me a new roof?? Um...I told them the owner had already offered me a deal weeks ago and then rescinded and said he was not interested in helping me. The door-knocker 3 Kings employee looked bewildered and had no idea what I was talking about. He called his supervisor who confirmed the owner was who I talked to. The supervisor apologized and had no idea why the owner retracted the offer and that they wanted to do business with me. My girlfriend informed me that sometimes roofers get upset if you ask too many questions. If I can't ask some follow up questions about the shingle type I want on my roof before I drop 10-15 thousand and it's too much of an inconvenience, I would not be exercising proper due diligence. I would also worry about every getting them back out for warranty issues or problems that arose if it's too big a hassle to ask them questions or reach out to them. I'm more confused by this interaction that anything else.

3 Kings Roofing made the process of getting a new roof, siding, and gutters as simple as possible. Within 8 days of signing the contract a new roof had been installed. Within a month siding and gutters were completed. The owner helped walk through the process, including dealing with the insurance company. I would recommend them and use them for any future work.
